this is a great product. Very well made and seems to be durable. Two notable items are the lack of a gap in the back of the lid near the hinge. On most garbage cans there is a gap and garbage gets caught in there. This on is smooth and therefore will stay cleaner. The second thing about it that I love is the lid. A lot of these have a poorly made lid that opens with a bang, this one is quiet and seems well made. So far I am very happy with this product.

Worth the price tag. Very nice quality. We ordered stainless steel and the color is great. It definitely holds more trash than our last can because this one holds the bag open more (wider) thus allowing almost all the bag to be utilized. It fits 13 gallon bags perfectly and holds them securely. No need for special order bags.. you can use the brand of your choice. After a couple months of use, so far, I have not had one bag come loose even if I throw in a heavy object.

After wasting money on three different automated models that seem to confound our nannies, I finally decided to just get a manual version.The nannies were trying to open the automated ones by pulling them up, which would cause them not to close all the way and also strip out gears. They simply could not figure out the whole 'wave you hand over the sensor thing' (scary since they were helping with our kids the first couple of years).Well, the nannies are gone, but our toddlers were touching the automated ones too much, so I decided to go for something a little more obvious. I bought a manual version and chose the Kohler based on so many good reviews. I am glad I did. It's not falling apart like the display models of various brands in the stores.Pros - Obvious and easy to use - Sturdy foot pedal design that isn't likely to break, and it's wider than many - Closes very gently - Easy to clean - Easy to change bags (take out inner shell, remove bag, put in new bag, place inner shell bag into can) - Bags are hidden from view - Bags always stay in place (unlike those metal bar versions where the bag pulls out from under them)CONS - Really none. The up front price is steep, but considering I had spent over a $100 three straight years for cheaply designed automated ones, I am really pleased with this one after 6 months.

The trash can is very nice, but they shipped it in the box it sits in on store shelves and it is NOT A SHIPPING box. So of course it arrived damaged. Had a dent on one corner side, I did reach inside and pushed the dent out which made it better, but still saw the dent. The seller, Gorenca, would not discount the damaged can and I am not going to pay well over $100 for damaged goods. Sellers comment was that they would be contacting UPS... it is NOT UPS's fault! I am returning and ordering from a different seller and actually found it cheaper, maybe they will package it? Now about the trash can... I would not say it is for small spaces. It is not huge, but I would not say it is small. One reason it is a bit large is because the part that the liner fits in actually sits inside the can. My old one, the liner showed and was ugly with a white bag hanging out.. with this liner fitting all the way inside the can, and the lid nestles inside the frame, I am hoping that the dog will not be able to lift it and get into the trash. Operates nicely with the quiet closing lid. I think I saw reviews about stickers... but this can had no stickers on it.

There are several things I love about this garbage can.1. The foot pedal. It’s big and opens the lid quickly and completely without much effort. It’s perfect.2. The soft close lid. It closes very softly and quietly. It perfect.3. The inner garbage can. It is easy to pull out of the can when changing bags. It it super sturdy and easy to clean if your bag leaks. It is also exactly the right size for a 13 gallon trash bag. The bag fits snuggly inside, not too tight or too loose and keeps the bag open fully. It’s perfect.4. Overall, it seems like a very high quality product. It’s well engineered and built with high quality materials. It is easy to use and keep clean. It’s perfect.5. It’s very cool looking and looks great in our kitchen. Once again, it’s perfect.You should buy this garbage can, you will love it.

Es un excelente bote de basura, el color acero es muy elegante.Para empezar, no necesita bolsas especiales, usa bolsas de basura tamaño grande de cualquier marca, el borde superior ayuda a que no se safe la bolsa y el cambio de bolsa es muy fácil.El contenedor interno es super práctico si se derraman líquidos, ya que lo puedes sacar facilmente y lavarlo.El sistema de pedal funciona perfectamente y permite poner el bote pegado a la pared sin impedir su funcionamiento.Lo único que le falta es un sistema para disminuir los olores, pero ese lo puede agregar uno por su parte, para mi es una excelente compra.
