Tabs broken off first time changing soles. Sending back. Also sending second pair of korkers boots back to Scheels due to the clip that holds sole on breaking on both pairs.

...but never slipped in a very slick and rocky river....didn;t help on ice....but not what they are built for...they are built for rocks in a river....and they work great for that. They make your foot heavy, but again....under water so doesn;t matter!

A buddy of mine turned me on to these. These work so great in the river for slippery mossy rocks. I don't slip at all in the river. They grip the rocks so good. I used to swear by felt bottoms until I tried these things out. I threw my felts away. HIGHLY RECOMEND!

Best soles for fishing off rocks and Jetty’s!! They do wear down but my first pair still has a lot of life left. Bought these as a backup

These are the best wading soles I’ve ever used..period. Bought them for a river trip in Alaska where felt soles have been phased out. Incredible grip on gravel river beds, and they are fine to wear in rafts as they can’t damage or puncture them like studs would. We needed to wader up for the float plane ride, so I wore the the Klingon rubber for that trip. It was very slippery getting out to the bank and unloading the plane...switched to the triple threats and never slipped for the next 10 days. I would never take this type of trip again without them, even if felt was legal.

The improvements over the previous model of Alumatrax solves are apparent. Overall a much more robust sole with thicker bars. Korkers products are top notch.Make sure to tighten the hex screws before first use with the included wrench.
