It’s pretty purposeless, but it does work like it does in the commercials. I played with it once with my cat and she didn’t like it so I haven’t really done anything else with it, but it is what it is.

The sound effects barely work, and the arms are awkward to move. The puppet's face looked like it had been squashed when it came out of the box; the nose is at a weird angle, and the mouth is squished open.

I was looking for a fun hand puppet for my pet and this looked promising.It’s very limiting and rigid. You cannot do much because of the hard plastic handle inside.Not enough room for hand and the plastic handle except to operate the arms with the TWO levers inside. Even that, you have to adjust your hand to reach the second lever (one lever per puppet paw).My pet likes to attack it initially but it’s so rigid that it’s not fun for her.If you want a hand puppet, the king pow paws are going to frustrate you.It is heavy duty and the stuffed part is well stitched but it’s not functional for what I needed it to be.

This little punching dog is really fun. It is great with or without batteries. You'll notice that, because if you do not turn on the power switch, it will box right there, but you flip that switch on, and it starts to make those crazy little boxing sounds which our daughter and pets really love.
