Seems to be well made and works as intended. I think these are a little stiffer than the OEM ones, which is just a matter of personal preference and isn't good or bad. According to KYB's website, their Excel G shocks/struts are made on the same assembly line and with the same parts as their OEM units, so I would expect OEM longevity out of them. As others have said, these are indeed made in Taiwan if that matters to you.The one thing to be aware of is although these have a lifetime warranty, KYB doesn't directly deal with warranty claims, the retailer does. I would hope that Amazon would honor the lifetime warranty if there's a problem, but since Amazon isn't listed as a KYB certified seller, I'm not sure how a warranty claim would work.

Perfect figment. A little stiff. Update***** blew out in less than a year. Normal daily driving. Now I have to spend a bunch of money to have it replaced because there is no warranty. I will never buy from this company again. What a huge waste. Spend a few extra bucks and go With a MFG replacement.

I searched high and low on the internet for front GR-2 shocks (as I believe the GR-2s were all made in Japan, though I may be wrong). I was expecting Japanese made GR-2 shocks, but instead received some Taiwan-made Excel-G shocks. Now, nothing wrong with Taiwan as the make a ton of quality stuff, but Japan is top notch in quality. Also, the first order of these had a mistake. Getting a refund from Amazon was a piece-of-cake. Go Amazon!!
