Ordered 2 rears. One was good the other wouldn't extend back out right away after charging. Also one had a locking nut while the other had a regular nut. The installation paperwork was different in both. KYB people said it's because it's made in multiple factories. I still think it should have a locking nut regardless of which facility it came from. Other then that it looks well made, except the paint on the one that had a problem was spotty. I installed the good ones. The ride feels good and am hoping it will last.

KYB thought about consumers selling the same part number for this simple design rear strut. OE fit. Very good quality strut.Good price tag.Other greedy manufactures.. Including OE.Taking advantage of non tech customers. This simplistic rear strut design does not have Left or Right. Brackets, arm, tower or one way spring landing.Charging more for a L / R stamping or label..

Great shocks. Stiff enough for a spirited drive but no so hard they beat you up.

My rear struts on my 2002 Honda CR-V finally went out. These units from KYB were pretty straight forward to install and perform very well. I've been driving on them for about 5 weeks without any problems.

Been tested and holding strong so far. Long drives from Dallas to SF, SF to Seattle. Fits perfect for CRV 2004.

Our about 2000 miles on them. They seem softer than the stock Honda ones. Good price on them. Being softer, some of the sporty feeling is gone
