Used to replace rear strut mounts on 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8s, looked virtually identical to OEM ones they replaced. Perfect.

I bought these along with new springs and struts to install new assemblies into the car. I thought this would be everything I needed to assemble the strut and then put on the car. Unfortunately there are a few additional items you will need. The first item is the lower mount/bump stop washer. It is a large cupped washer that fits onto the strut before the mount. This is a crucial piece because if you don't have it when you go over a bump instead of the strut compressing to absorb the impact; the mount will just get driven down the shaft. The second item needed is the cupped washer that fits at the top of the mount before the bolt goes on. Neither were included with the kit. The instructions provided are low quality and not item specific so the diagrams are useless. I also found my haynes manual to be of no help as it didn't cover how to actual assemble the struts. I ended up disassembling the old struts to get the pieces needed that aren't included. Quality seems to be good. The rubber on the mounts seems to be quite a bit stiffer than the original ones they replaced. The original ones though were 18 years old so it may just have been due to the age.
