It's fine for the purpose It's intended. It burns well when needed. If you must write on it and you are particular about the ability to do so, I suggest you use a regular tip Sharpie. The fine point sharpie sometimes pokes a hole through & regular ink pens feel rough. The paper is textured and that may be fine for some, but I don't care for it.

This ancestor money is one of my favorite types of ancestor money to use. I always buy this kind. With my business I use ancestor money (joff paper) in many rituals and using the specific type is in fact very important. Some other types that I have tried just will not stay lit, causing a disturbance and delay in each burning within the rituals. This type is wonderful as it almost appears to burn similarly to incense in how it will stay and remain lit all the way to completion and in reaching the other side of the veal to assist out ancestors.This money is also great fun for my kids as they love how realistic the texture and feel of each bill is, and like to trick people with believing they have real money they are burning.This money is very lightweight and just has a great texture to it. I recommend using this type of ancestor / spirit money / joff paper.

I'm not sure what type of paper they used, but it doesn't feel realistic like other brands. The color is also off. Plus, the two stacks I received are 10,000, not 1,000. $10,000 bills are no longer in circulation, so that in itself makes it feel unrealistic. My mind can't accept it. There's no point in sending it back. I'm going to burn it for the ancestors and hopefully, they'll still receive the energy. Also, the amount is 10,000, but they put one million dollars on the back. It just doesn't resonate with me.

I count these out and use certain amounts. Usually they come 100 bills to a band but imagine my surprise to find 75 bills per band, meaning each pack only has 150 bills total not 200 as advertised. On top of that the printing was shotty on several.
