I have a really old lamp that is antique. It was acting up with the light holder area. It was easy to install the new one to keep the lamp going. The value for the money of it was worth it. It is built well and works with any type of lamp.

It works, and by the grace of God I wired my lamp correctly and didn't electrocute myself. This product does NOT come with any directions. I found out after the fact that there is a "hot wire" side which is not labelled. I would not recommend buying this product unless you are an electrician.

This is just what I needed, maybe not all parts of the kit. I had to do a repair to my "Leg Lamp" by adding a new fish net stocking, which required some disassembly. In reassembling, the switch stopped being a 3 terminal switch. I also needed the threaded center support because the manufacturer used super glue to keep everything tight. Parts fit and got 'er done in no time once the ordered 3 terminal switch arrived later in the day.
