I had the same problem as the guy who took the pictures, it definitely damages the drone!Not to mention it doesn't fit evenly. One side won't clip on. There are 2 slots to ensure it will only fit on the drone 1 way but it still sits crooked and FFF's up the body of the drone!

when flying the drone, the down force from the props causes the legs to fold in some. I thought i was mistaken when I start flying it (that the legs was fully extended but when I watched the drone take off and see the legs started to fold in from the downward air, it explained why when I landed my image was crooked. The legs do not lock in the open position, so if a pilot takes off and land, or experience a crash and hope the landing skids are fully out (or for one experience, completely popped off the drone when I contacted something) the landing is unpredictable. It is a good concept, but need some fail safes in place (like fully locking skids) to make this product better

I bought this to protect my Avata 2. To give it a little more height off the ground. I was very careful in trying to snap this on to the bottom of my brand new drone and it damaged the small strip of plastic between the bottom and the vent. This product is garbage. Pass on this unless you want to ruin a drone.
