Good-Sized Drop Box
The parcel drop box can accommodate packages up to 13.8" Wide x 8.7" Deep x 4" High, which fit most small or medium mails, such as smartphones, envelopes, rent checks, cash, keys, etc. And it is practical.

Designed with security and durability in mind, the parcel box is constructed out of heavy duty powder coated 20-gauge steel which is scratch and rust resistant, perfect for indoor use or covered outdoor use. In addition, the flap plate and drainage holes are specially designed for strengthening the rainproof function.
Security and Anti-theft
The locking mail drop box features a continuous piano hinge which makes it difficult to pry the retrieval door open, and a metal baffle inside the mail box to protect against fishing. The tubular style key (2 included) and lock are difficult to replicate.

This is a reasonably good product if you’re mechanically inclined. In order to properly mount it on the wall, I had to remove the security lid, that required drilling out the rivets and disconnecting the shock that holds the lid open. That allowed me access to the holes inside to properly mark and drill the holes. Doing this was not complicated, but some forethought from the manufacturer would be ideal. There is a security brace that covers the upper mounting holes and it prevents you from being able to get to them mounting this item on the wall.There was no template included for marking the wall. The other problem with this product is that when parcels are dropped inside, like Amazon envelopes, they can get caught up inside between the upper and lower sections of the box. Easiest solution is to use duct tape and cover that seam.Once it was installed and operational, it works fairly well for smaller parcels. Amazon envelopes and smaller things go in just fine.Unfortunately, larger items have to be put on the ground and can be seen.Every item has positives and negatives. Overall, once I was done working through these little issues, it works reasonably well.
