Aerated my 1,000 SF ± sod area in my yard. This tool made it as easy as it could possibly be. The performance of the aerator didn’t degrade. The spikes didn’t clog. Good penetration. Looking forward to seeing the benefit in the yard growth.

Really easy to assemble. You just need to take care of 2 screws to connect the pole. Everything is metal and feels sturdy. Unlike some of other brands, you don't have to screw every single nail on this thing. The spring mechanism and step down design makes it easy to use it on the ground. Opening for the foot is spacious. Even if you are wearing size 14 boot, there should be plenty of space. It has 3 adjustable (need to take out the screw) height. At highest, it comes to my waist (slightly under 6 feet).Because of the retractable design, nails are not touching the ground under storage. Also, it gives advantage of not accidentally pricking yourself on the nail while using it or storing it. Warmer day and after lawn has been watered is the the better time to use this. Obviously you don't want lawn to be too muddy from water before using this.I really don't have anything to complaint about the product. Nails are thick enough and it's really easy to assemble and use. Only time will tell if there will be issue with spring, but I think it will last a while.
