I bought this screen because my original screen started losing color at the bottom. To ensure the issue wasn’t the Flex, I purchased one on Amazon first, and it worked fine, displaying the screen correctly. So, I decided to buy the screen here on Amazon. I installed it and it worked well, but three days before the 31-day warranty expired, the screen went black and had a blue line. The screen was not dropped or mistreated; it was used exactly as it came. It was installed perfectly, but it simply stopped working. It was in use when it suddenly went black and stopped functioning.The only concerning point is that the warranty, if I’m not mistaken according to what I read, was for 31 days to return it. So, here’s where the real issue comes in. The screen arrived fine and worked, but if it broke for me within those 31 days, what would happen if it broke 5 days later? Would I have lost my money? This is really the problem with this screen. The difference would simply be to buy a screen that offers at least a one-year warranty, so if it breaks within that time, you can be at ease knowing they’ll replace it.I recommend considering purchasing a higher quality screen or one with a longer warranty. This one is priced well, but if it breaks within 30 days, it’s not worth it. A screen with a longer warranty would be a better choice since after the warranty period ends, you can’t do anything and might lose your money. I’ve seen similar comments about this screen, so I’m sharing my experience. I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s better to spend a bit more on a higher quality screen or one with better reviews. Here’s my opinion, and I’ve attached photos to show what happened.

Easy to install and feels great, but unfortunately after two months it just stopped working. Shows barely a slim line of the screen at the top and the rest is black.

I know Laptop screens might not be perfect in terms of distribution of brightness and how black they are on average. But this thing has very bright spot. To a point were I would say it's faulty. As I ask the seller about it, I only got a standard answer about returning the product. That was it. I am not interested in the money, I need a working screen. When I asked about a replacement there was no answer anymore. So, I keep it, because I need, since I need to work on my laptop, but I also want to share this information in case someone is unsure if they want to buy this or maybe an original.

Update: Definitely a dead screen after less than 2 months! Total Garbage (Installed this two months ago and went completely dead one morning. I still have to rule out the motherboard but all signs point to a dead screen. Guess I’m stuck with an hdmi monitor till I can get another replacement.)

Following a screen replacement video on YT, I swapped my old busted LCD with this and it worked perfectly. Would have cost almost a hundred bucks more to rely on a computer shop to order and do the labor for me.
