I was taught to rake the fallen leaves onto a tarp and pull it to the curb. Curb leaf pick up is only once a year where I live so after that occurs I have often put my leaves and garden trimmings into the trash can. That can be awkward and the debris often gets dumped onto the ground around the trash can. This leaf collector is like a giant dustpan and is easy to lift, very light, and makes the dumping process easy to control. It is made of tarp like material and should last a while. There are no directions for putting it together. It is like assembling a tent with fiberglass poles. My hints for this are there are two lengths of pole The two shorter ones are for the top. Two longer poles get connected to go down each side of the bottom and 3 of longer poles get connected to go down each of the sides top to bottom over the curves. There are caps that go on the ends of each pole length after connecting them so they will not poke holes in the tarp. There are connectors to connect the poles together to make the proper lengths. There are no extra pieces so be careful not to misplace any. Overall a nice product but took me awhile to put together due to not knowing a which pieces went where and that there were end caps. If it had better directions it would have gotten 5 stars!
