It's made of a nice thick waterproof tarp material. It has a fair amount of space to it, because by the time it was completely filled with leaves, especially if they're at all wet, it would be too heavy to lift. That said when there's a decent amount of weight in it, it holds up well. So I don't expect the handles to break any time soon.At an MSRP of $25.59 (at time of review) it's a time/life saver around the yard, and wonderful not having to drag a bag around that could get torn up as you go.

I have been invited by Amazon to take part in the Amazon Vine program & I take that very seriously.I order products I am interested in, try them out and give my honest review on that product.I am not paid in any way by Amazon or the sellers for my reviews.Since I am an Amazon customer as well, I provide as much detail as possible for other customers in order to help make an informed decision on the products. I do not recommend products I myself wouldn't use. It's December and I have yet to pick up our leaves. Ooopsie.I plan on tackling that job this weekend. Maybe. When this leaf collector crossed my feed, I couldn't help but order it.Have you ever tried to bag leaves? You either have to pick handfuls up with your hands and try to get the leaves into the bags or you lay the bag on the ground, stand on it in order to hold it open and rake leaves in.I never knew I needed something like this until it crossed my feed. While I don't have a huge yard, it's not small either. I put off having to rake leaves as long as possible. I usually do it in the spring. The hubs put it together for me & I tried it out for a few minutes. I can't even tell you how much easier this makes picking up leaves. No more fighting with garbage bags trying to get them to stay open.I still don't look forward to raking leaves but at least now maybe the task will be cut short. It seems to be well made and durable so I think we'll be able to get a few years use out of it.It folds up and stores nicely when not in use.I am very pleased and definitely recommend.

Good design on the bag and it is sturdy. Putting it together was a pain, there are no instructions. I found a few pics on the product page which showed how - 1/2 of the sticks slides in from the top of the bag to each side, then you have to forcibly jam the two sides together. I would not try to break this down and do over and over because plastic gets brittle and will most certainly break. This part was not a well thought out design. The pole could have easily slid from one end to the other - I may make a little slit in the plastic and try that. As is, it will be awkward in my shed rather than pack away nicely. Almost great, but not quite - also a little pricey for what it is.

I ordered this item to help with yard cleanup tasks, mostly with leaves and pine straw. This item is made of polypropylene (PP) woven fabric with a water-repellent polyethylene (PE) coating. The opening of this reusable yard waste collection bag is reinforced with a four-piece fiberglass-reinforced rod assembly. The rods are slid into a pocket sewn into the bag at the bag opening. The rods are connected end-to-end with plastic tubes that hold the fiberglass rods together. Anyone who has assembled a camping tent in the past thirty years will be familiar with the process. The volume of this bag is 53 gallons (200 liters) and the bag has two straps sewn onto the top of the bag to enable the user to move and lift the bag, when needed.I received this order today and had it assembled in less than five minutes. Since I was trimming some Boxwood hedges at the time, I had the perfect opportunity to test the bag by collecting the trimmings using a leaf rake. I particularly like that the bag has a flat section that stays flat onto the ground allowing you to use a rake to collect the trimmings, leaves, pine straw, etc. easily into the bag opening. It was then very easy, thanks to the strap handles, to move the bag to a collection location and then dump the bag contents. This product really saved my back today from having to bend over and pick all the clippings up and place them into a trash can or a bag. I think I am going to like this product.

So when doing yard cleanup, the choice is piling up the leaves and brush into a pile and leaving it there for awhile, or getting out a yard bag and filling it up. The problem with each option is either you're stuck with a pile of debris that needs to be moved, or a leaf bag that's half full.So this leaf bag is a good option to clean up the leaves, but then move it to a less visible spot - and then later you can transfer it to a paper leaf bag for removal. Or you could probably dump it from this bag into a paper bag. This is well-made and should hold up to regular use. I assume it will eventually wear out and it isn't as stable as the pictures make it look, but it's fine for normal lawn care and should last a couple seasons.
