I ordered this set of 4 fender lights for my 2000 Ford F350 Super duty Dually.With no power to the lights they all have a dark gray color. For identification purposes, they placed a red or yellow dot on each light. When the light is on there is a line about 3/8 inch wide the length of the fender that lights up, unlike the original fender light that lights up completely. From a distance it looks like the entire side light illuminates. There is also a soft rubber gasket at the back of the light, which prevents the side light from rattling in the fender.When installing these lights, remove the light bulb from the old side light socket, an insert the spade connector of the LED light into the socket (need to push hard to get it in). Then push the socket into the new LED side light and give a ¼ turn to lock it in place. These side marker lights fit our 1999 F350 perfectly. I was a bit worried when I saw their simple plastic design, unsure how they could possibly clip onto our body, but after a few minutes on Google and YouTube my hubby was able to figure it out. These lights were simple to plug in to the existing cords, once the inner wheel well cover was unattached, creating an access point, and our cords were located. Our truck came to us missing the side marker lights completely, so these lights were a necessary addition. For the price, I'm pleased with the result.
