A few things about this one..- the charging ports are micro-usb, rather than usb-c, so it's made of hardware that is a generation old. This isn't terrible, but it definitely dates the production.- The description alludes to a carabiner being included, but it was NOT.. Also it didn't come with any instructions; I knew by the pics on the description that you're supposed to loop the leash around the belt that goes on your waist, however just by looking at the pieces in the box (without instructions), it seems like you would attach the ring on the belt to the ring on the leash.. which would also give you a nice quick-release method.- The button on the belt is nice and clicky.. the button on the leash, not so much. This is totally nit-picking though because it still works fine. Just not very tactile.- The waist belt isn't super thick, and has a plastic buckle. So it's standard medium-duty. But if you're concerned about old Cujo taking off like a rocket with superhuman torque, it's something to consider. You don't want the clip to break, or get sliced in half like in those horror movies.- along those same lines, as another review noted.. due to the elastic, you can't use the leash as a signal to your dog to do something, because the energy gets absorbed into the elastic if you do something like tug. This would be more for a dog that is happy to walk or run beside you, at least for most of the time, and behaves well enough that you don't need to constantly correct him/her/it.On the plus side, it is consistently nice and bright along the leash and the waist strap, and the battery lasts for a few walks/runs. Or, if you were enterprising, you could put an extra battery pack in the fanny pack attachment. The elastic in the band helps to shock-absorb sudden, medium-strength pulls. This is useful but it also depends on the dog; in my scenario I have two sled-dog bred dogs whose favorite activity is to pull heavy things (like a human) as hard as they can. Especially when something small and furry is sighted. So I have a constant fear that if I don't keep my hands near the leash, one of them would either knock me over or slice me in half if they go jetting off on a mission.AND, the very first time my wife used it in the dark, some person driving by stopped to ask about it. So it's definitely unique enough to be an attention getter.Aside from the issues noted above, as long as you're okay with looping the belt through the leash every time you use it, it seems alright, though I would suggest having a standard carabiner handy to link the belt and the leash, since that makes WAY more sense, in my opinion. Also note, I had the privilege of ordering this item for review and did not have to pay the full retail price for it. Functionality wise, I would give it a solid 4 stars, but since it did not come with a carabiner as stated (which, after looking at some other reviews is not isolated to me), I'm going 3, which doesn't mean it's bad, but that there are important things to note. Plus if I was going to shell out $28.99 of my own money for it, I would want it to include that two-dollar accessory that let me quick-release the leash.

While I don't walk the cat in the dark, I bought this since our neighborhood lacks a lot of lighting (it was built as a "Starlight" community, back when we were surrounded by farms that have converted to more sub-divisions over the past 10 years). When dusk catches up with us, I find myself wishing I had brought a flashlight as cars don't really feel the need to turn on the headlights and we might not be as visible if she strays near the curb. Since she doesn't weigh much, the Bungie component that some folks mention in reviews doesn't really impact my ability to bring her in closer when she strays (she's on a harness, not a collar).Overall, I like this setup...it's a bit long for my needs, but I understand the flexibility for appealing to pets of varying sizes. I'm always worried about secure stitching, but I don't see any weaknesses or issues with quality.

The leash set came with two usb charge cables, sports bag (fanny pack), the waist strap, and the leash. The listing says a hook clip comes with the set, but I did not see one included. The leash is good size, and even with the LED lights - it says pretty flexible. The stretchy part of the leash was very useful, as I can pull back on the leash without giving a jolt to my dog's neck. It flexes enough to give some play, but not enough to lose control of your dog.The set came with a sports bag, but I probably won't use it as I have an arm band for running. However, it could be handy in your situation. The bag has small pockets inside to keep credit cards etc.The lights turn on nice and bright. A button on the leash and waist strap turns on the lights, and each button push cycles though a different light pattern. The USB ports are well protected by a rubber waterproof cover. Unfortunately, they are not USB C plugs. I don't know why we are still using the old style USB plugs in 2024. Even with the lights off, the leash has some reflective properties for safe walks/jogs.Overall it is a good quality leash. The ad says that this leash is good for small, medium, and large dogs. My dog is small, and I would say the leash is a little oversized for him. While it works, it is big. I would suggest this item for medium to large dogs.

The entire reason for this is night time walks, and it works PERFECT. Quick to charge up, both the leash and collar are LED. I love how easily visible this is at night, when walking around darker streets with my puppy. Fits perfectly too for my sized dog. Very happy overall, this bungee leash is a game changer for night time walks. Super impressed with the quality.

This leash is literally the best one I’ve ever had, especially for taking walks at night. It can be kind of dark in our neighborhood (minimal street lights) and it illuminates the area around you. My dog and I are highly visible to other walkers and cars. I get so many compliments on it too when people see it, asking where I got it! There are three different light modes…I prefer the constant one and there’s also a nice ‘bungee’ section, if you happen to run with your dog so they don’t get yanked back. Would definitely recommend.
