All hot and neutral wires terminate at custom lugs in the panel, not at the circuit breaker, so the entire panel can be wired at rough-in without circuit breakers installed. Leaving the option of having the circuit breakers easily plugged-on at final installation. The white flush/suface mount cover and door has a modern, more appealing appearance with an observation window in the cover that provides an at-a-glance operating status of all the circuit breakers.

I think it’s an excellent product and it looks great an all that but here’s why I still gave it a 4 star rating…1. Over all to me the added cost isn’t worth it because ultimately the standard cover looks really good as well and for the amount of these I’ve installed, I’ve never received an overwhelming better response because I chose the cover with a glass front.2. The glass front also forces you to get creative with labeling the panel. I don’t personally have any issue with this because I came up with a better way to do it since this photo was taken, however I know that not everyone thinks on their feet and I feel like if you label the panel in a poor manner after the installation of a beautiful panel and cover like Leviton offers, then you’re taking away from the overall aesthetics and the idea of having a glass front as a whole.Just my personal thoughts on the matter.

First I will start with the good....It looks great, has a window to see the breakers, etc...Now the bad...I ordered this panel because I wanted the window... I installed the matching 42 space panel but when I went to install it, the holes didn't line up. I would say if you are looking for this panel cover because of the window, skip it, get the windowless cover.If you will be getting the generator interlock (Part Number LITLK) they (Leviton) didn't pre-drill the holes for mounting it so you will have to drill holes... well... what happens when a drill bit first starts? It wants to walk from the drilling spot. How difficult would it be to pre-drill holes for the interlock and put plugs in so nothing got in it? Not difficult at all but that's a design change and cost them too much for their profits. (none of the covers have the holes pre-drilled).

I really like the way it turned out compared to the original door that came with it, it feels more modern to me. Load centers have been the same gray box for years I really like what Leviton has done with load centers.
