Purchased this as we build a kit for items that need to be locked out at work. When locked it was not able to be made smaller, but just easily slid larger which goes fully against its purpose. Returned the item right away

The length is long enough and can be adjusted according to needs to adapt to different devices.The locking method is very simple and easy to operate. I like this cable lock's security features. The lock can accommodate up to 4 LOTO locks at once, with each lock point being 5/16” wide. This is ideal for situations where multiple people need to control the same source, as the system ensures that no one can open the controls until the last padlock is removed. It’s a great way to ensure that everyone working on the equipment is on the same page and that no one can accidentally reactivate the machinery. The integrated warning label is another thoughtful feature. It’s visible from both the front and back of the lock, and there’s extra space on the back for additional markings or information, which is perfect for our specific lockout procedures. The bright and clear warning ensures that everyone around the equipment knows it’s locked out and safe to work on.

I'm not sold on these - I find that the cable loosens quite easily, even when locked. Maybe the ones I got are lemons... but then again, both of them? I don't think that these are worthwhile if you're looking for something secure.

These cable locks are as described. The function as expected and are of fair quality. Simply open the lock gate feed your cable through the designated power disconnect, tighten up the cable, close the gate. Which locks the cable in place and allows you to place your lock and tag with according information. While the cable could be slightly thicker. You would need to purposefully cut the cord or break the housing to gain access. Thanks for stopping by, hope this was helpful.

Works exactly as described, with thin but strong cable and a tip that fits through narrow gears and closes tight to receive padlock. Worked great for my purpose, really like that it is adjustable.
