Your cart is empty.Lokar 36 inch Hi-Tech Throttle Cable Kit for GM LS1 Engine All Lokar Hi-Tech Throttle Cables are available in either stainless steel braided housing, black stainless steel braided housing or black housing. They are designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable - not to be confused with ordinary braided brake hose. The cables are equipped with aluminum fittings and aluminum ferrules to eliminate fraying. It has a "U-Cut-to-Fit" outer housing which is available in 24 inch or 36 inch lengths with a "U-Cut-to-Fit" stainless inner wire. The Clevis is designed without cotter pins or set screws. It adapts to factory and aftermarket pedals. It has custom lengths available upon request. The cables mount nicely with Lokar's array of Brackets and Return Springs (which are sold separately). The kits come complete with installation instructions.

72 Chevelle here with an LS3 swap, using the Holley forward engine mounts and trans X-member. I tried the stock GM throttle cable, but it was 5 inches too short. Note I am also running a FAST 102mm intake (it may be longer than stock intake). Anyways this universal cable was easy to install, VERY high quality that you expect from Lokar. Took maybe half hour to fully install, because of me trimming the cable to the perfect spot.

I bought this throttle cable for a 67 c10 with a LS swap. The way I interpreted the ad title and the product description was that it would work with this setup, it did not work. The product fit perfectly with a new style 72 pedal assembly and had a the correct length of cable. But once it can to connecting it to the throttle body the connector that it came with was not compatible with the LS throttle body. It was a letdown because this product is very nice quality as lokar is. Make sure you look at all your components ahead of purchasing.

I replaced a cheap O'Reilly's throttle cable on my '01 LS and this was an easy install and I could immediately tell the difference in throttle smoothness. Only thing that was a problem was the ferrule (I think that's the right term) didn't fit my throttle body but I was able to re-use the old one.
