As a microphone hanger, this hook is terrific. Worked for years for my company radio and also for my trusty old CB. However! This time I'm using it as the hanger for a handheld spotlight! I bought the male part of the hanger and screwed it into the spotlight and hook it on where it's mounted in the vehicle. Handles the weight just fine and holds it securely, even on rough terrain.

Vary nice and strong clip. How the the clip looks and feels it's a vary professor high grade product.The only thing I don't like about it is how tight the clip inside clip is. But after a few uses it should stretch out the metal.
