I love these egg shakers! I teach Zumbini classes and they have such a sharp sound. They don't sound dull or quiet at all! They are easy to clean and children love them. The colors are also really nice. All 48 egg shakers came and there were 8 colors of each. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!

I only ordered this because the picture made it look like it came with 5. Instead it's only one.

This is a great product for many musical situations! The best part about this shaker is that it is cheap and simple great for users who are not musically inclined. If you put this in the hands of a talented shaker, you are in for a treat as they can usually add many beautiful, rhythmic additions to any song.Great for mission trips and children too.

* This brand of egg shakers has a sharper sound than other brands I have used. Others sound a bit duller by comparison. * My only complaint about ordering is that I need teaching aids of a particular color, because I often feature color-recognition and naming of colors as part of the learning activity. Having a choice of colors would be a great benefit to me. * As an Early Interventionist, I provide practice of fine-motor skills for young children. Some ways I use egg shakers are: (1) At about 6 months old children can grasp an egg shaker by holding it against the palm with fingers and opposing thumb. Using the thumb is an important advance in grasping skill -- and children do involve the thumb as they practice holding/shaking an egg shaker. (2) At about 8 months children begin to practice dropping objects. This voluntary-release is an important skill. At about 10 months children can begin releasing egg shakers into a container. (3) By 12 months children usually begin to horizontally bang two egg shakers together. This provides practice for the child's bilateral and midline skills -- the midline being an imaginary line drawn down the middle of the child's body. (4) And, of course, older children, who have already gained the basic fine-motor skills, can simply use egg shakers to make music themselves, or to participate in a rhythm band with other children.

Somehow I missed the part that for $5.95 you only get 1 shaker. Perhaps in part because you don't get to select your color. Just a heads up to read all the details. It's a great shaker, but not great value in my opinion.

We love our RhythMix Egg Shaker. My son first found one at a playgroup we went to and LOVED it! I immediately had to find one for his birthday! He loves rattling it every day. It was very easy working with this seller, and the egg came very quickly! Overall I had a wonderful experience!

Got the shipment today and can't believe that there was only one egg shaker in the package! The picture showed a box of shakers and because the order did not say any where that what I ordered only included one shaker, I was very disappointed that only one shaker showed up in the package. I expected a few of the shakers! The picture definitely was deceiving and I was definitely deceived!
