Of the cheapinexpensive "you-assemble" furniture I've received, this one's more on the "cheap" end of the spectrum. It's not terrible, and for the cost it's probably worth it, but I had some issues. See photos. The wine glass rack is only attached with a couple screws. With all these type products, there are threaded inserts pressed into the wood, to screw parts into. With the wine glass rack, I couldn't get any screws into inserts that were pressed a little too far into the wood. If they were sunk at all, rather than completely flush with the wood surface, the screws wouldn't reach. Only a couple reached. There are a couple damaged corners. There are some slightly visible stains on the top. I tried to get a photo of them. Not glaringly obvious, but definitely there. The hardware is pretty cheap. The screws are very soft. The allen wrench that came with it kept getting stuck in the screws, because it would dig into the soft metal. One of the screw heads is already stripped. I'm ignoring it for now because I was able to get it tight, but at some point when I move and need to take it apart, I'll have to find a way to extract that screw.Overall it's alright. The legs definitely look thicker/more stout in the photo than real life. It's got some wobble. No good for using as real counter top in the kitchen to cut or mix food. But good spreading out a bit. Not great quality, a little shipping damage, soft hardware. But it'll give me more counter space, and I needed that.

For starters, the screws are very soft and strip easily. Secondly, the wine glass holder is legitimately unusable. The screws don't fit in the threads, and if you use other screws, it tears the sockets out and/or ends up with craters in the top of the table. Speaking of which, there already was one straight out of the box.Normally I'd email and request a replacement part if it was just one defect, but this thing was consistently horrible to put together. It might have only took 10 minutes, but the screws strip, the heads on the screws strip, the glass holder is unmountable with the included hardware, and the top of the desk had a hole blown in it. I'm honestly stunned at how well the manufacture packaging was protecting everything for how horribly it was handled and how atrociously it was made, before being packaged. If they'd duct taped all the parts together and slapped a shipping label on it, it could not have arrived any worse.
