These feel really high quality. Really impressed that they’re made in the USA, cotton, and soft.

City Threads products are excellent. They are soft, comfortable, and hold up well. The only issue was with the photo on Amazon. My son was excited about the patterned pair, and we received three solid colors. I sent it back with the reason for the return, reordered, and still received the three solid colors. They're holding up well, but in the future, I will order directly from CityThreads.

Love these undies for my toddler. Ordered four different types and these are the total favorite. Material is super soft and feels very well made, a little bit on the thick side (only downside being they might be a touch bulky under some styles of pants) -- thick enough that he can wear them around the house by themselves if he wants. Note that the "flap" is just for looks, not open to the inside. Needed new undies for potty learning, to make it easier for him to pull up and down on his own, and the thick material and wide waistband on these really help!

I’ve been buying these boxer briefs underwear for my esdest son for the past 4 years and they are great. My middle & youngest are now wearing the hand-me-downs. They are great quality, soft and comfortable. 4 years ago I struggled to find underwear my son would wear and these he loved.I don’t love the price, but they are totally worth it! I’ve never had any problems with seams unraveling, holes or any other type of problem so I’ll get to use them for all 3 boys. Great product. (And they wash well ;-)

Update 2022Still buying these for my son. I buy 6 at a time with size changes, but he can wear the previous size, too (he is now a size 12, but I found a stray 8 in the drawer and it’s only different because of the size. The color is not faded and material is great after hundreds of washes!) I am worried about what I will do when he sizes out of them!Update 2020The review that follows still hold true. :) I have continued to purchase these briefs for my son as he still prefers them and they hold up amazingly. He outgrows then before I need to replace than. I am bummed that he is at the biggest size they make, so I am dreading where to go next for his under garments. Still totally recommend these! True to size, they can stretch so last a bit longer than other types of undies. Best value for the dollar, even if they cost a bit more than some other popular brands. Don’t hesitate to try these. Now the original review:These are quality undies for boys!! I've purchased several pairs of boxer and regular briefs, and my son loves them. The material is soft and thick with no scratchy places. They wash beautifully retaining color, shape and softness even when washed in warm water. The colors are vibrant and fun with so many options. My son will dig under the other brand underwear with cool pictures in order to pull out his city threads. They are priced a little higher than the other brands, but they are his favorite and worth every penny!!I love that these are made in my home country, as well.I definitely recommend this product to anyone who cares about comfort for their kids!!

I really like these but I didn't realize the striped ones weren't 100% cotton which is a bit of an issue. But they're still nice and very soft. They are pretty close to what us 5t is supposed to be I think and my kids are 5t and they fit, not big or small. They're size 100 at the moment if that helps families who use European sizes as we usually do. They fit Hanna smalls & nearly fit mediums right now if that helps. These are soft, do have seams but not irritating ones and the waist is covered in fabric not irritating bands like some have. They are long enough and don't really bunch. No annoying characters and not cheap thin white/black/blue/maybe army green ones like you find at the store and it's a good price. I will buy again but won't get striped again even though they're a hit. 25% poly :-/Hope this helped.

I have run the gamut of department store underwear for my boys. I'm not sure if it's the way my children are built, but none of them seemed to "fit right". For them to fit in the legs, the elastic in the waist would cut into their baby fat causing a red ring on their skin but also a muffin-top appearance. I saw my nephew wearing these and I knew they would be perfect for my boys too - and they are.If you like products Made in the USA - buy these! If you like superior quality materials - buy these! If you like superior manufacturing - buy these! If you like complete comfort for your children - buy these!Yes, these are more expensive than Fruit of the Loom or Hanes. Even if you cannot justify spending more on underpants only because they are creating jobs in American, the quality and comfort of these are indisputable. You can spend more on these still get a better value for your money than with other brands.I think sizing is spot on. My boys are stout, but not chubby. I ordered size 10 for my 8 year old, hoping he could stay in them awhile. I know the quality will allow it, but he is growing so quickly! Size 10 fit loosely, but not uncomfortably so and I think in a few years they will fit snugly, but not uncomfortably so.

My son needed some pajamas to wear around the house in the summer and he is getting a little too old for character pajamas. I decided to order him these boxer briefs and he loves them! They are super soft and well constructed and MADE IN THE USA. He generally fits into 8 slims (he's a skinny 10 year old), so I ordered the 8s. They are a little loose around his chicken legs, but they do the job and hold everything in correctly. They look adorable and will function well for our needs this summer. The material, while soft, is a bit thick, so if a boy were to wear them underneath clothing, they may be a bit bulky. My son likes to wear skinny jeans and these definitely wouldn't work under those. But as pajamas or underneath looser fitting shorts/pants, these are a great option.
