I was hoping I could use these to replace some similar latches I have on some heavy overhead cabinets that I use for storage space, but unfortunately these weren't strong enough to open the larger cabinets. The existing latches I have actually proved stronger than these. I adjusted these to the extremes to see if it was just an adjustment, but unfortunately that didn't help.On the plus side though, these do provide for variable mounting, which is nice. My latches are inset and these fit perfectly in the existing holes. They also come with all the needed hardware (besides the drill bit if you're doing these inset) and even have pads that help distribute some of the force more evenly and may help prevent marks on your cabinet doors if you're concerned about that. The only other thing I don't love about these is that they are silent. A lot of people might actually prefer that, but I really like having that satisfying click when a latch locks and unlocks. If you have some lighter cabinet doors, I'm sure these would be just fine. But if you're looking for heavy duty latches for heavier doors, you'll probably have to continue looking for something with more force.

These are push-to-open door latches that offer two mounting options. (1) The included aluminum tube and plastic base can be surface mounted with the included screws and the latch inserted into the tube. (2) the latch can be inserted directly into a suitable 10mm hole drilled into the furniture. The only instructions we get are printed on the plastic bag and they are for a different holder that seems to have two screw ear tabs on the side. The included holder has the screws hidden once the aluminum tube is slid over the base and is not mentioned anywhere. While this is a nicer design, we need to go back to the Amazon page for instructions. The instructions are very hard to read with microscopic metric numbers, e.g. for the required hole diameter. The ends of the aluminum tube has some very sharp inner edges (see picture). These need to be cleaned up before we can even insert the latch. The correct distance can be fine-tuned after installation by turning the inner shaft. The magnet is not very strong, so this is more suitable for doors that have spring loaded hinges.Otherwise this is a nice redesign of the surface mount but the ends of the aluminum parts should have a better finish. It is a glaring omission not to include a leaflet with printed and readable instructions.

Great push to open for cabinet doors or drawers. I love that these can be added after the fact, to frameless cabinets. For framed it will be some work, but it can be done. I do not like the ones that look easy but I have to bore a hold in for. These are super easy to install, a couple screws and then clip in! Lovely design. Great price!

Excellent touch latches. I used the three pack to replace older failing touch latches of a different design. These work well. The spring action is strong, they are easy to install and are a nice design where the screws are hidden by the device capping the mounting bracket. The rod can be rotated to fine tune the projection length. Magnet square can be attached to the cabinet door without necessitating screw attachment. Good value, excellent quality, and they work as desired!

got these magnetic push-to-open latches for my camper cabinets, and they’ve been super handy. The magnets are strong enough to keep everything secure while traveling, which is exactly what I needed. The push-to-release function is super easy and works smoothly every time. They were easy to install and feel really reliable. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a clean, no-handle look or just need extra security on the go!

I know I've used doors that have a push-to-open design, but I haven't paid any attention to the hardware. I'm not sure this item is the right thing for me, so I did not install it, and therefore can't really give it a fair review, but here are my initial thoughts (the first one is the reason it's not right for me):The latch is quite hard to push; it feels like you'd have to give the door a good shove, whether opening or closing. And the latch pops out with some serious force. The description does say "heavy duty" and "strong pop out," but I obviously did not pay enough attention to that. I think this would be best for a strong, heavy door. At the very least, you'd need to push the door very close to where the latch meets it. Pushing the opposite end of a particleboard cabinet door might not have enough force to trigger it. But I could be wrong. The tab at the magnet end to help line up the latch is very useful. No thinking or measuring involved! If you have face frame cabinets, you would need a 1-by shim to mount the latch (or drill a hole in the face frame if you door overlaps enough). That is probably standard for any latch of this type.

These are exactly what we needed! The price is fabulous—and they are professional grade. Our contractor installed them for us for an under the counter cabinet that is used to hide utility lines and cables in our kitchen. This is the perfect way to create a flush space that is easily accessible! They work great—strong close, easy open. All you want!
