The MAONO USB Condenser Microphone is a game-changer! My podcast now sounds so professional, my mom thinks I'm the next radio star. Just kidding, I use this primarily for my gaming microphone. Setup was a breeze—plug and play, baby! The sound quality is crisp, picking up every nuance of my voice (and my dog snoring in the background if the gain is too high). My buddies noticed immediately that I had a new mic, and their first response was, "it sounds like you are IN my ear", which I think is a good thing.The only reason it’s not a five-star? It’s so good that it caught me singing off-key during a game break. If you want a mic that makes you sound like a pro, even if you're not quite there yet, this is it. Just make sure your embarrassing moments are out of range!

I recently got the MAONO PM450S microphone and it’s been a great addition to my setup (I’m using it to record voiceovers for videos).The package comes with everything you need: a filter, arm, cable, and shock mount, so you’re all set right out of the box.The build quality of the mic is really impressive, it has a nice weight to it. I’m actually pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, especially since it’s not an XLR mic. Since it’s a USB mic, I can just connect it to the laptop and start recording (I LOVE the thoughtful USB-C / USB cord lol) Handy headphone jack and mute button on the body.One of my favorite features is the customizable lights on the mic, particularly the breathing effect - it looks very nice, not cheap looking at all (reminded me of my Govee lights).Setting up the mic was a breeze, and you most likely don’t even need to read the manual. However, there are a few customizable functions, like turning on the high pass filter or changing the light modes, that do require reading the instructions.A few downsides: number one is definitely the price – it’s on the expensive side for a USB mic. Likely because it includes all the accessories in the package too. Also, I haven’t been able to play with the software for the mic yet since I couldn’t find the Mac version on their website as of now.Overall, if you’re looking for a high-quality USB mic with great features and easy setup, the MAONO PM450S is a solid choice.

I recently purchased the Maono PM450S USB condenser microphone, and I'm blown away by its performance. The setup was incredibly easy, and it worked perfectly right out of the box. The sound quality is truly podcast-level, with rich bass, clear mids, and smooth trebles. The advanced software controls and rugged build add to its value. It's also very affordable compared to other high-end mics like the SHURE SM7B. I highly recommend it for podcasters, streamers, and musicians alike! It definitely records but may not be the best for vocals. It's also possible that it's my space but I can't get rid of the eco. I have tried everything. Different rooms, a closet it's just no good. The only thing I can think of is to foam pad everything.
