The blocks were nice. My grand nephew is 3 so he couldn’t construct a proper marble run himself. I was able to make a few versions that sent the marbles into some interesting paths. I was sorry that the box showed the expensive version of the set and he wanted to make those towers, which you can’t do with the 60 piece set. That said, I think it would be great if there were some lock or clip to keep the blocks together. He did love knocking the blocks down when it was time to pack it up.

I can't speak to the quality of the product itself, as I haven't opened it yet, but hopefully it's in better shape than the box! The outer box (the one it was mailed in) was totally fine and undamaged, but the box that the product actually is in is in very bad shape. Damaged, ripped, and generally banged up looked. Really a shame as it's a birthday present and it looks used and very shabby! If I had more time before the birthday I would definitely return :( maybe I'll just unpack it and put it in a different box, but still not what I hoped for! Fingers crossed the product will be great to make up for it :(

It is fun for us to play with and for him to explore what ever he puts together. No right or wrong, but he learns what won't work and rethink how to make it work. Very fun and he can use this for years to come.

I had a similar marble run as a kid in the 1990s. I bought this set for my children (5 and 7), and I'm now reliving my childhood. We've been having so much fun coming up with different configurations for marble runs. Then we try to see how many marbles we can send down it in rapid succession before it collapses, which entertains kids as much today as it did 30 years ago, lol! If you are looking for something you can do with your young kids, that you will have fun doing too (without having to move around much - which makes this great for grandparents as well), then building a marble run tower fits the bill. I actually bought two sets so we could make mega runs. Highly recommend this product for the nostalgia and the fun.

Unless you have some sort or genius toddler these are hard to set up, I’m 36 and I had trouble setting these up!

I made a formal complaint as the ad constitutes false advertising. The marbles depicted in the ad's photograph are 9 different-coloured colourful marbles. I received 9 brown marbles. I did not pay $100 for a marble run to receive a product different from what is advertised. I would not have paid that amount for such a plain coloured marble run all brown. The coloured marbles advertised in the listing were crucial to my decision to purchase the item. This is false advertising, and by having this sent overseas it becomes very complicated for me to return the item not to mention it was a gift for my 4 year old who asked why are the marbles all brown? The box and ad all depict coloured marbles.

Our family loves wooden marble runs. We bought one for our son in 1987 that looks much the same as this one. I saved that marble run and gave it to our grandsons. They love it as much as our son did, and our son enjoys creating runs along with his boys. I bought this so they could add to the older set and make more complicated runs. It works very well, edges are smooth and it provides hours of entertainment.

Our five-year-almost plays with this for 30-40 minutes at a time! We join in as often as we can because it's so much fun. Unlike similar products whose reviews I've read, these pieces are smooth and work just fine. The corner pieces (the squares with two holes) do have a right and wrong way, but it's easy to figure out.The options for arrangement are only limited by how many pieces you have. This set is plenty, but we may buy another because we've enjoyed it so much.
