Overall this knob is great quality and has a really nice and smooth action to it, with really solid materials and fit, but it is much, much higher than most of the other, similar ones I had looked at before, and I am not sure why since it is almost exactly like another one I purchased that was about 1/3 the cost and came in a nicer package.

Caution when attempting to open the package and install the product. The knob has tiny plastic ball bearings that literally fall out of it's casing when you attempt to install the product. Careful or you will lose many of them. I though that the knob was defective so I returned the first one and ordered another. Same results...as soon as you begin the installation process, all the bearings fall out. I will be returning this one as well.The knob itself seems very solid, but it is impossible to install without the bearings coming loose.

Works ok. It is not as smooth as the more expensive ones but it will work.
