This SS carabiner is easy to attach and remove and is marine grade so it wall resist corrosion which, on a boat, is essential. It is strong enough for anchoring, tying off, and lifting items out of the water. Great find. I bought several for my boat and truck.

Highly recommend - so much cheaper than West Marine and quality is at least as high. Save your money, buy these instead.

I use these for “locking” my vinyl fence gates - I measured the size required by using a drill bit in the locking mechanism.The quality is excellent; they seem better built than the ones I have purchased locally at the big box stores. The operation is also much smoother.Although only outside for a few weeks, they look brand new as if I just took them out of the packaging.They are also stamped with the 316 grade and size (8mm).
