It must be great because our ferret loves this soup. I make her a little bowl once a week and she eats it right up.

I got exactly what I ordered and the shipping time only took a couple of days, which is fantastic. The expiration date is out eight months, so you know it's not old. Will continue to purchase from here.

Ferrets love this, it is basically ground up marshalls kibble, great for sick/unwell/picky eaters. not great for their teeth, should have dry kibble but when in need this gets them too eat and get their nutritional needs.

While this type of supplement might not be the perfect fit, it works really well especially for my sr ferret. He loves it and gobbles it up. It helps him keep weight on and stay healthy, even at over 7 years old! He also likes Carnivore Care, but it gives him runny poops, where as Duk Soup has not. I add water, Pedialyte, and a dash of fish oil to make him his yummy soupies!

I have owned many ferrets(9or10?) Over almost 5 decades. I've had ferrets that weren't fans of meat of egg yolks over the years, but NEVER like this male, Odie. We have tried all the tricks, every type of meat or fish/oils etc. He would live off freeze-dried liver but that's not good for them. It's WAY too much iron and they get black tar like diarrhea from too much. A couple months ago, his last sibling died a pretty traumatic way(seizures and squawking for almost 2 days-couldnt get a vet to put her down) anyway when his sibling started to get sick(cancer) Odie became VERY stressed and started chewing out all his fur. Before anyone suggests it, no he doesn't have Adrenal Disease or Insulinoma. He looks like a raw rotisserie chicken tbh. ANYWAY, I didn't hold much hope for the Duk Soup. Just will not consume meats. Soon as it arrived I opened the bag and let him smell it. He immediately started climbing up my leg for some. I put a bit of powder on my finger and he went CRAZY and tried to climb in the bag. I keep the lids from the large Activia Yogurts to put snacks on. I followed the directions and he ate every drop!! I wish I had tried this years ago. Obviously, he's 10 so in human years he's between 100 and 140 lol. He's healthy, but he does look sick now. I HIGHLY recommend Duk Soup! The past few days he's eating properly, his bald chicken skin is more soft(we also put coconut oil on him as their skin dries and getted chapped :( anyway that's all I had to say I guess 😊

One of my ferrets thought this was delicious. Only downside is that I ordered this to Sweden and I had to pay custom fees: 75 kr. Not really fun to pay and not informed on the site.

This powdered food mix is the best way to build up your ferret after surgery, illness or just not eating. I mix with warm water to a paste as thick or thin as needed and every ferret I have had simply loves this. It's a perfect way to conceal medication as ferrets are usually very difficult to administer meds to, and this keeps for ages too in its dry state. Every ferret owner should have this on standby, it's just a pity that mainstream pet supply stores don't usually stock this mix. Don't bother with other supplementary foods, this is the only one you'll ever need.

A recommander.

Fortunately, throughout my years of being a ferret mother, my ferrets have always been healthy, until my first and oldest became sick last month. After taking him to our vet for displaying odd behavior we discovered he had a tumor and despite our best efforts, we were unable to save him. During this time, while he was hospitalized and eventually passed, my other male ferret who was his closest friend became very depressed and quit eating, dropping a significant amount of weight. So, I had to take fairly drastic measures in order to get him to gain weight and begin eating again. Therefore, after substantial research, I decided to add this to our routine to get him to feeling better.I had read a lot of wonderful things about duk soup and the benefits it provides when you have an ill ferret or ferret that won't eat, so I decided to give this prepackaged form a try in order to start "treatment" as quickly as possible. I know ferrets need to eat quite a bit throughout the day, however, with my work schedule that was difficult so I scheduled three hand feedings a day (morning, afternoon, and night | not force feeding | also a very small supplement of Nutri-cal with afternoon feedings). My little man preferred his duk soup be a fairly liquid consistency, so that how I made it. When I first tried to get him to eat it he was a bit weary, but I placed a small amount on his nose and he began to really love it. I would make up a small batch and allow him to eat however much he wanted, if he wanted more I would simply make more. Over the course of two weeks, I followed this feeding routine and he showed significant improvement in weight and energy after just one week. After two weeks he had put on almost all of the weight he had lost. Shortly afterward he began eating his kibble on his own, with no coaxing, and stopped wanting the duk soup all together. This has definitely been a miracle product for my little fuzz butt, I was very concerned I was not going to be able to get him to eat but he took straight to this. I'm glad I purchased several bags because now I have some extras on hand in case I every have trouble with any of my ferrets in the future.
