Right now they’re my favorites. I own several different sets of knit picks interchangeables. I also own some of the premier yarn sets, Deborah Norville sets, and I think a knit pro set. The needle itself is smooth, the join doesn’t catch, and the lock to screw feature is like other brands (they are not compatible with the above mentioned brands). I like the little gripper they included to help tension the screwing in of the needle. The cords are sturdy and I like how they’re coated.I really have a singular complaint. Where the cable meets the threading for the needle… it jiggles. It’s hard to describe but it’s as though the cable can jiggle slightly in and out of the thread end. It’s secure and works fine, but that jiggle can give you a heart attack after you’ve cast on 300 stitches. I guess the pouch they’re stored in could use and exterior pocket for the cable extenders and ends. Still a very good set.

I have been using them for knitting Sophie scarves and the needles works amazingly. I was worried that if I should have bought more expensive ones with bamboos, but I am very happy with the purchase. I also love the case because it contains everything nicely.

I love working on these needles. I only have one issue or would have given 5 stars. On a set either the needle or cord no matter how tight I make it keeps coming undone. I'm working on another set of needles and different cord no problem at all.

I have never had one of these knitting needle sets before so I don’t have any way comparing them. Only to say that I love this set. I love the copper color, I love the feel of them and the case they come in is really nice but no pockets? I have had no problems with them. I would recommend them because of the price and the size of the 4 inch needle is easy to handle and knit ability. They are lightweight. I really love the quality of them.

This very inexpensive set has a lot of the features that the very expensive brands tout. The cables swivel, tighten well and stay tight, connections are smooth. The case is a neat design but very cheap, and the straps to keep the needles separated and in place were broken on arrival. I don't know if the needle sizes will wear off eventually, but they didn't budge over the course of the 3 projects I've completed so far. I can't imagine anyone regretting this purchase for the money.

Started knitting a blanket with some of the larger needles which was going fine. But after starting a pair of socks with the smaller needles I realized the cord was coming unscrewed from the needles after every single round. I used the tool to tighten them but it obviously wasn’t enough to keep the smaller needles fastened to the cord. Supremely disappointing is an understatement. The cords are also absurdly stiff which renders the smaller ones useless and the stitches get caught on the edges where it changes from cord to needle. Constantly having to pause your work for such a time consuming project to retighten is not ideal and I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone. I assume they’ll get worse with time as well. Really unfortunate as I am a beginner knitter and thought they would do the job for now.

Pros:- Needles are in the size range I knit with.- The cables have swivel tips and they have no memory so will not twist or kink during knitting. There is good assortment of cable lengths: 40,60,80, 100 mm lengths.- The folder is a faux leather and neatly stitched. The elastic holds all the needles nicely in place and won't shift during transit.- The set comes with an assortment of notions: silicone grippy disc for tightening the needle. Two cord connectors, locking keys. Four colorful end caps.- The pouch is very compact and easy to store.Cons:- The cords DO NOT fit my Knit pro or Knitpicks interchangeable needles. The screw thread on this set's cord is smaller.- I would call the color of the pouch an army fatigues green , and the needles are a golden yellow. I'm not crazy about either of these colors.- All the accessories fit into the envelope and there's no outer pocket to separate them from the needles in the pouch.I am an advanced beginner and I own several sets of interchangeable needles but I don't own an aluminum set and was wondering about this. In terms of slipperiness these aluminum needles fall between my super slick nickel plated needles, and my grippier birch needles.I test knitted a swatch with acrylic yarn and I could be imagining, but they seemed to get slippier after knitting for fifteen minutes. Maybe some residual from the manufacturing process got removed or the oils from my hand made the needles slicker? I don't know but they knit fairly well. The cable joints are smooth.I would like to have the cables fit my favorite Knitpros, but that didn't happen. At this price point I recommend this set for a beginner or someone who uses straight needles and is ready to move onto interchangeables.

This is a good set for the price. If you are new to knitting this would be a good set to start with because you get all the sizes you need at the fraction of the cost. Like another reviewer said the needles are shorter than average knitting needles so that may be an issue for some projects and for larger hands. There aren't any instructions on how to connect the cables so you need to use common sense. The bag it comes in is really nice and it holds all the needles in place with elastic bands like a pencil case and the sizes are marked well and clear. I feel like once you learn how to knit really well then you can move on to the more flexible expensive knitting needles but these are definitely 100 times better than the plastic nylon cables you see at most craft stores.
