Just what the TITE-BOND FAST GRAB FRP adhesive calls for- Lowe's sells the plastic panels and adhesive, but not the proper trowel. This worked perfectly using the other products. 100% recommended!I am 61, Irish, never paid nor compensated for my opinion and paid full-price for my own purchase. And my country is doomed with Biden/Harris!

There is nothing wrong with this trowel. However, it is NOT the correct trowel for applying FRP adhesive. This is not a fault of the trowel, but rather a misunderstanding of the FRP adhesive specifications by buyers. Since the other reviewers are claiming this is the right trowel for FRP, I wanted to set the record straight. The specs for Titebond and similar FRP adhesives state to use a V-notch trowel 3/16" wide x 1/4" deep, spaced 1/2" center-to-center. That 1/2" center-to-center spec means the flat space between the notches should be 5/16", not 1/2". If you use this trowel, you will only be applying about half the amount of adhesive required for your FRP panel!

This does what it is designed for and is well built. It will last a very long time.

A finely made trowel, i bought it because I couldn't find the correct size in the tile section of my home depot. Later i found the correct trowel in the hardwood/engineered floor section of home depot that weren't nearly as quality but 40% cheaper. I was installing frp and the frp mastic is messy, nasty stuff so you'll want to buy more than one so you can soak one in a bucket of water after it gums up (and it will and frp mastic is thankfully water soluble). I suppose a professional wouldn't have as much problem with the mastic as i did but this is my experience.

Great trowel. Used a couple of these for glue down engineered hardwood flooring on concrete and they held up VERY well. They very much outlasted the smaller cheaper ones I was using at first.Tip: When using this with glue, put painters tape on the bottom of the trowel so when you are done cleanup is easy by just tearing off the tape! Saved me SO much time and I was able to reuse these again and again.
