This thing will do the job, but you better have strong hands and fingers. The blades aren't easy to get through thick meat, and when you do finally get them to go through, it's a struggle to pull them back out. It is dishwasher safe, but I would recommend cleaning it by hand with the brush it comes with, because little pieces of meat get stuck in the blades and if your dishwasher isn't powerful enough to blast them out, then they won't get clean. Also, water gets inside the top part of it, so you'll want to drain that out so it doesn't end up on your food.

This is the best gadget that I have used to tenderize food. The blades are sharp, the size is perfect for the comfort of your hand and it's easy to clean. It has a locking mechanism for safety and leaves meat tenderized to perfection!

This works great. My family is on the carnivore diet. My son is super picky about steak and fat content. He hasn’t had a problem since I started using this. I’m also getting compliments on my London broil :)

It works and it comes with a tiny brush for cleaning in between. I also love that it comes with a cover. The only thing is, the cover, mine doesn't lock in. Minor thing.
