I have a regular version of this kitchen tool, but without the spring load plate that automatically releases it when you pound the meat. THAT is what makes this significantly better than a tenderizer without the plate, it is significantly easier to use. I would buy it again and again, if it wears out, which will probably not happen soon as it is very well made. IT IS A BUY NOW!

This meat tenderizer does a great job. Also is more compact, therefore takes up less space in kitchen drawer!

This all-metal tenderizer is terrific. You grip it like you're brandishing like a Viking and you're off to the races on the meat.It is easy to control and drives into the meat on the first go. You can perceive it piercing the tough areas of the cut, but as you work your way around it flows easier. Very neat item as I never used the piercing tenderizing method before.I overcooked and laid to waste the pork chops I used this on, but you could still chew them easily; a nice change for us. I can't wait until I use it and actually cook the steak/chop correctly.The business end of the tenderizer is very sharp. The stainless needles mean business so be careful. After one go, I'll put this item in the stellar category. For only $20 you can't beat it!

This is not junkie or cheap. It is easy to handle and though I've only tried it a couple of times I can't really say that I've used it yet to any degree.However, I am very happy that I purchased this and I'm sure that it will suit my needs!

Lightweight, can be a little difficult to clean, seems to be of good quality that will last. Ease of operating without difficulty, pierces meat with no problem!

304 stainless is tops. Smooth spring action. And it’s beautiful to boot!
