I have a Nissan Sentra 2015, the key is not compatible, different frequency.. the quality is poor, battery is cheap.. if you plan to purchase this you need to verify the frequency of your vehicule before, this is not standard or compatible with all Nissan Sentras 2013 - 2019 beware of that, actually I don't think this is complatible with Nissan Sentra at all.

These blank keys worked just as it said, and the instructions to program them were very easy. The only thing is you have to go get them cut at the key shop but well worth it in comparison to go into Nissan for a new key.

These chipped key replacement worked perfectly for my car as duplicates after programming. Have to be programmed for lock and unlock as well as to start the car. Recommended if you need a replacement key at a fair price.

Cheap and work fine. You’ll need a programmer like Tom’s or bring it to a locksmith/dealership.

As another review mentioned, this is not do it yourself. You will be able to program the remote control part very simplistically by finding information on YouTube however, this is a computer chip key. As such, it will have to be programmed to the ignition.Just about any locksmith will be able to do it but do expect to pay around $50 to have it programmed so that you can start the vehicle. So, to recap... You can program the key to lock and unlock but, you'll need special instrumentation to program the computer chip to start the vehicle.Cheers!

Fobs worked perfectly after programing. I did have trouble at first programing the second key so I watched a youtube video that mentioned other keys nearby might interfere with the programing. I placed the first programmed fob at back of house to get rid of interference (prob overkill with distance buy whatever). I returned to car with just the 2nd fob and it programmed on first try. FYI, get ready to spend another $70 to $80 on programming chip to car.

The key itself is a good aftermarket key and works well. What you see as a price that is representative of what a locksmith pays wholesale. Sounds like a good deal. Maybe, depends on the situation. But as a Locksmith, I know this key requires a programmer to match to the car. It is not a DIY key for a novice or uninformed. The key and remote portions like on many aftermarket keys are programmed separately. When a customer comes to me with their Amazon purchased key, I normally charge $65 to cut and program this key from a working key they have. The customer saves money, but I don't warranty the key. Otherwise it is $160 with tax included and a 90 day warranty. The chances of a key failure is slim. Less that 5% have issues which end up being computer related rather than key related. You must have 1 working key on some vehicles to add a key. In this case all keys are erased in the programming process and 2 may be required to program to the vehicle. That is why it is sold as a 2 pack. If you have lost all keys, trying to do this on the cheap will not work. In all cases with no key, you will have to prove ownership, pay for towing, pay for vehicles codes +2 keys +programming. This takes us to about $300 to $375 with a locksmith or $450-$700 at a dealer. It is easier to know before you go. If you really want to save money, have your key duplicated on a plain metal blank (a door key) It will work in the doors, and ignition, but will NOT start the car. But if you lose all your working keys, Just having a door key with your cuts could save you $90. Make that metal door key. Good luck on your projects.
