Two things keep this from gettnig 5 stars. The medal rack folds in the middle with a hinge, and the hinge actual protrudes from the back slightly instead of being flush. The stain gets much darker toward the end of the wood peieces, so the break in the middle of the wood where it folds ends up looking not very well matched. It's not terrible, and some of these issue will probably be less noticable if you have a lot of medals and trophies on it.

Pros:Love the stain (husband would have preferred a finish like a flat polyurethane)Love that it came fully assembledLove that it will hold lots of medalsLove the grooved top for small trophiesConsDo NOT like the hinge; to keep it from rubbing against the wall, we had to leave the mounting screw heads our further than we would have preferredMy husband thought the wood choice was a little cheap for the $30 price point

I really like this medal holder - it’s a great size and holds a lot of medals. It also seems very solid and able to handle some weight. I also really like that it has a shelf at the top. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the finish of the wood is a little rustic for my taste, but that is easily fixed with a coat of paint.

I had to expand our medal collection, so when this was offered, I did not want to pass it up. And yes, with lots of pegs, it will do just fine. The material is softwood, though. I would be a bit worried about carrying heavier, more valuable medals. I will be keeping them on the metal one.Pros:+ Ample space: with 22 pegs, should be more than enough+ Natural wood color+ Easy installation: Came with anchors and also a mounting guideCons:- Softwood: Not a dealbreaker, but could have been betterOverall, this was what we needed. Hopefully it will stay on for a long while.

I bought this Medal Hanger Display for my 9-year-old son to organize all his football trophies, awards, and medals. It’s the perfect size for his collection, with 22 pegs to hang his medals and a grooved shelf to showcase his trophies. The natural wood color looks great in his room, and the easy installation with stud anchors made it a breeze to mount. It’s sturdy and keeps everything neat, while also giving his accomplishments a place of pride. A solid choice for any young athlete looking to display their achievements!

The idea is great, and it does the job of holding medals, but I was a bit underwhelmed when it arrived. The wood quality feels just okay – not super sturdy or premium. The color also didn’t really match well with my wall, it looked a bit off in person compared to the photos. It’s not terrible, just not exactly what I was hoping for. If you’re not too picky about the look, it’ll work fine. But if you care about matching your decor, maybe keep looking.

Our child needed to have a place to display their sports medals. This will hold a lot!It is long, about 2’ long, light weight wood. It also has a template to place the included screws into the wall. We are using several command strips. I am not sure how long that will last ;)Appearance, it does look just like the photo. I am thinking of painting it, but it is fine just as is.

Wooden Medal, plaque and trophy holder, has grooves along the top to keep plaques secure. Comes in one piece, on a hinge that folds out, you could seperate them if you don't mind fastening yourself, and not using the mounting kit. Wood is rough, you will want to hit the top with a bit of polyurethane to make it easier to dust before putting it up, or if you will be painting it, that would work too. Build quality is meh, I might be a bit overly picky, things like the hinges sticking out a bit on the back so it is offset from the wall, glue globs at the base of the medal pegs, and the holes for the wall mount are near the bottom of the shelf, not the top, which would be the most stable, and pegs are straight out, instead of angled up a bit to keep the hanging medals secure, which combined with the low attachment point could mean the medals slide off in high traffic areas unless you use a bit of stick on felt at the bottom to level it. Still, looks alright when up though!
