I think this is a great sounding cymbal on its own, but I discovered that it also makes a great sounding mini hat paired with the Meinl HCS 10 inch splash for the bottom.

YES you most certainly can and did when this $150+ cymbal was shipped only in a plastic, non-bubble lined, plastic bag !! Totally unbelievable and unacceptable but I tried it. played it, in it's bent state and it sounded great. Not trashy but a more smoother tone. I am wondering if an un-bent cymbal would even sound better ??(BTW- the next day I received a $9 paper calendar, in a box with ten air filled pillows ....... )

Incredible splash, I got the 8 inch traditional splash and its such a pleasant cymbal to play and cuts through with a beautiful sound. Recently ordered a 10 inch byzance dual splash I can't wait to try out! Meinl cymbals are the best.

This is a splash when i first heard it,i had to buy.Pleasant and versatile little cymbal. Has a glassy splash sound and reverbs like a raindrop, perfect.Used to add colour to a crash cymbal using a double stroke or played singly it is very musical.Not for hard hitters.
