This is one of the best kilts I have ever worn. That said this kilt is my "bedroom kilt" but nonetheless it is still a very good kilt. The fabric is very good quality and the colors are dark and rich. For my use the snaps seem to be pretty sturdy and I don't forsee having any issues with them. Overall, I will say this kilt is definitely a good value for the money and I highly recommend it, regardless of your intended use.

Decided to buy a tacti-kilt for conventions. Pockets offer some good storage and the kilt itself is rather comfortable. I probably could have gone a size smaller as it seems a little long for my liking. And it seems to be an interesting conversation starter. Be prepared for "the question!" LOL

Great product, solid design, durable fabric. Definitely buy a size up from what you'd expect. Highly recommend!

I have a x-fix bolted into my leg bones to isolate my knee. I can't wear pants because those 4 stainless steel pins you see sticking up at the bottom and the top are drilled directly into the bone.First off its not advertised but it should be the front completely comes apart. So you can detach the buttons and velcro, lay it across the bed, the get into the bed, roll into the middle, and reatach the front.I was worried I'd need to use one of the grabbing tools to get it over my bumper leg, no chance with this thing. It's super comfy, it covers me up way better than a hospital gown, and I can wear regular clothing now!Otherwise I literally just got it, but if you can't wear pants because of surgery, these are for you!

I have a modest kilt collection and this was a welcomed addition. The material is lightweight without being flimsy. The snaps aren't the best but haven’t been an issue while wearing.

Do not measure yourself like you normally would for a kilt, also not pants...lol...ok, so my kilt size should have been 42, so I ordered 42.. still too big, where it lands/hits for the correct length right below the knee (Im 5'11") it needs to be down a bit closer to the waistline, and fell straight off... here's what I would do if I were you... if you wear a 38 waist in jeans, Id order a 36. Also...buy yourself a set of heavy duty snaps and replace the crappy snaps on these... they will pop... EASILY. not a quality or tight snap. For 40 bux, it's a decent ripstop garment. If you're thinking it's going to be the same quality as a UT ULTIMATE... it is not... it's worth the 40 bux. I think they need to update sizing guide instructions... and use a superior snap, and a more heavy duty velcro. Also, the side pocket material inside, is not be durable or thick... pretty thin, like the pockets on a pr of dress pants.

I'm a shorter woman who wanted a utility kilt and took the chance on this one. I normally wear a size 40 but after reading the reviews (re large fit) and the proper way to measure for wear, I purchased a size 36. I was fully expecting the kilt to be too long and as an amateur sewist, I was ready to hem it. Well it fits perfectly both in waist and length. Great value for the price, fits perfectly. Can't wait to wear it out.

Finally getting started on working to hormone treatment (AMAB non-binary so looking for non-binary outfit clothes) and I've wanted a kilt since I was a lil kid, finding the idea of a skirt that men or women could wear equally without too much judgement almost too wonderful to be real.My first attempt was one from Walmart... do NOT recommend that, got one from a cheap chinese knockoff company that took a month to ship and while it said it was a men's large, it was sized for a petite woman.Second one I went trolling on Amazon and saw this, loved the look of it, and read through reviews. Worst reviews said "oh it's too big!" which I'm like "... that's a good thing if it's not a dramatic circus tent. Plus covers my knees a lil better".Ordered, got 2 day shipping, and it arrived just a few hours ago. Wonderful fabric, a bit stiff but that'll work out and feels sturdy. The real happy thing is that where it overlaps, there's 3 columns of 3 sturdy buttons. For the moment I'm using the largest set, but I feel so comfortable I can probably get started on losing this gut a bit, and knowing this will shrink a good bit is a massive comfort.Got myself a size 38 (belt size) and it expands nice and comfy on my slight beer gut protuberance. Buttons low enough that I'd have to work hard to "flash" folks. But my double jointed hips let me do the splits if I want in them without fear of ripping!Gonna order myself at least 2 or 3 more from this company once I save a lil more money. If I MUST nitpick?- Doesn't have a listed instructions for washing that I can find, hope it's machine washable.- The little belt clip loops are plastic rather than metal.- Doesn't have one on either side of the front hips so getting a traditional sporran is out. But it's got traditional hip pockets and two big thigh pockets so that's a nitpick.Hopefully it's as durable as it feels!

This is a really cool utility style kilt, in case you were wondering if it’s going to look or feel cheap. Nice rip stop fabric, Velcro and snap closures, elastic waistband, and great size pockets. To amplify what other reviewers have said, it runs big. What I thought this meant: since my waist is 36 in I need to order a 34. What it really means: I need to return the 34 and order a 32. Seriously, they run THAT big. Can’t wait for my exchange to process because it IS a cool kilt!
