I haven't had a chance to get these in the water yet and maybe my opinion will change then but the sizing is odd. I'm 5' 8" and 195 lbs and normally wear a large and deal with shorts that go way below my knees. I was just barely able to squeeze into a large, and the shorts covering the neoprene stop like 5" above my knees when I'm standing.

Sizing is almost spot on. I'd typically wear a large, which is what I ordered, and it's a bit small. However this doesn't matter much as it stretches out when it gets wet, so maybe by design? Keep in mind that this is a 'wetsuit' for just the shorts, so it's only going to keep your mid-section warm, which works just fine for me.There is both an inner 'compression' liner, and a board short type material that covers the external, with the neoprene sandwiched between. My only concern is longevity, which I'll only know with time. So I'll update my review if I come across any future issues.
