Resistance: 500k Ohm
Curve: Login
Shaft Length: 18mm
Shaft Diameter: 6mm
Diameter basis: 16.5mm
The end of the shaft is splined, so that you can place any button inside 6mm splined

The difference between the A type and B type is the curve. Due to the way the curves work, the A type is normally used for the Volume and the B type is normally used for Tone, although some prefer B type for both Tone and Volume. Most Les Paul type guitars use the 500k ohm pot and most Strat type guitars use the 250k ohm pot, although it is strictly personal preference.

I ordered these when I was restoring a vintage Japanese guitar from the 1960s. The control cavity was too small for a standard CTS pot, but these little fellows fit perfectly. They also had a nice feel.

Worked great for my soundgear ibanez bass volume pots

I got these to replace some very scratchy A250 pots. The A500 gives you more control over volume from pickups and master volume. These work well in hollow body guitars. The B500 pots are used for Tone. They may or maynot need a coupling capacitor .022 or .047 microfarad. Check your wiring diagram or bring it to my shop for install.Scottsguitarshop

Nothing to write home about. A little crunch when turning it around the 0-25 range. Which I’ve experienced quite a bit with cheaper pots and it’s nothing a contact cleaner can’t fix.

Used one. My volume pot burned up and would not turn. Replaced it with this and worked like a charm. I'm happy with the purchase

The pots are great, they do the job. But they only come with a single M7 hex nut and a single washer for each. You’ll definitely need two nuts for each one, and M7 hex nuts are shockingly hard to find at any local hardware store.

These pots deserve to be right up there with more expensive ones. They are sturdy enough, have good tone, a nice impedance and a nice tonal character with smooth taper.

Je n'ai pas été chanceux avec ça car l'un des deux grichait et était défectueux.

I had these installed into a guitar by a qualified amd experienced guitar tech. One pot does not work at all. And the second pot had a very stiff and scratchy rotation of the shaft. I would rate zero stars if i could.
