You get what you pay for in terms of material quality, but the fit should not be off. Housing smaller than the included bezel for radio screen and hazard light switch gets stuck due to incorrect sizing. Wish I spent the extra 5.

This arrived on time and installed perfectly in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. The mounting bracket is plastic but is a thick strong plastic, it had multiple pre-drilled holes for mounting to different radios.

It's a real easy install. It matched up well with the dash.

The styling matches the factory dash well. It seems to be slightly loose at the top 2 pins. It may be because I re-used the clips from my factory dash. I may either use the other 2 included clips or may just put a strip of double sided tape behind it. It is not terribly loose. Maybe moves 1/16 inch if I push on it. Other than that I am happy with the fit and finish. It is a good value for half the price of the BestBuy installer price.

Matched my Tacoma dash perfectly. Arrived about a week earlier than expected. Instructions were a bit vague but YouTube helped. Was a bit concerned with the actual brackets for securing the radio to the dash, but once installed with the bezel it seems very secure. Fit my double DIN Sony deck like a glove.

I had this installed by the Geek Squad so I can't speak to how easy it is to install or the quality of it but it does look close to factory new! My aftermarket receiver and the clock/emergency button is perfectly flush with this kit. I would recommend it!

Overall, this does the job. Not a perfect fit by any means, but not horrible either. A little bit of persuasion gets the job done to my satisfaction. The 1st unit was missing the smaller face plate but Amazon sent a quick replacement.Only thing I wish they'd do is allow the use of the metal brackets. The plastic one doesn't line up exactly for all 4 screws into the head unit I installed (Alpine CDE-W265BT).

The bracket kit when used in conjunction with the Metra 70-1761 harness kit works well and made the installation of an aftermarket double DIN deck into my 2008 Tacoma a breeze. Everything fits decently but it's a cheap/inexpensive kit. Short of full custom, it's the only option vs the Scosche kits, which I didn't like either.Pros: Inexpensive. Everything fits like it should. No rattles, squeaks or other oddities. Looks decent once installed.Cons: The OEM radio brackets are metal while these are plastic. You have to use them because they hold on the bezel. The bezel itself is flimsy and flexes if you push on it. Mine has several lemishes on the textured part, one of which is visible.

Bottom line up front: for the price, you're not going to find a better mounting kit for a double DIN stereo. With that said, this kit is certainly not perfect. Some observations I have had during the installation/use of this product are as follows:Fit and finish: right off the bat, the mounting face is an almost perfect copy to the OEM face. The color matches perfectly, and the texture is identical. The same, however, cannot be said about the fit. When installing, you will notice that the side brackets that attach the after market radio to the vehicle are not the correct angle. Metra has dealt with this by making the brackets out of plastic (the OEM ones are made of metal) which allows it to bend to conform to the mounting holes. That said, this is far from a perfect fit. The mount seems cheap and fragile, and I was afraid to tighten the 10mm mounting bolts too tight for fear of cracking the plastic. Furthermore, the hazard button's enclosure needs quite a bit of manipulating to keep the button from sticking. I had to remove the entire assembly after installing the first time to readjust the mount, and in doing so one of the plastic retaining clips broke off and was lost to my truck's dash. Luckily the stock clips fit the Metra, so it wasn't the end of the world.Appearance: when I finally got the hazard button to fit without snagging and reassembled the dash, I was pleasantly surprised with the overall look. The BOSS Audio BV9364B I had purchased looked great with the dash, and the kit fit everything snugly without much slop. One final note to those who plan to purchase this kit, go ahead and order the Metra Stereo Wiring Harness at the same time. I hard wired my stereo in, and in doing so had to replace a blown fuse. Save yourself the trouble and drop the extra 5 bucks on a wiring harness; it'll make your install much more pleasant.
