Allowed us to install a modern double din size touch screen head unit in his older G35. Great fit, and everything plugged in perfectly to all factory connectors. The new climate control buttons feel and function like factory. The color was not a direct match, but didn't bother my son.Not a project for the faint of heart. :-) There are quite a bit of interior components to remove but between the manual and YouTube videos, it was manageable.

I purchased this to fix the factory ac/radio circuit board issue, and it works perfectly! I have a 2003.5 g35 with the factory nav and Bose sound system, I had no major issues with the install. The materials are decent quality, the climate controls work as intended, the color matches perfectly, and the whole housing fits in very well.For anyone looking to use this with the factory nav system, fair warning. The nav will fit, but only after you trim out the opening at the top a few mm and there is very little room between the ac control board and the nav housing for the cabling. It's a tight fit, but after tweaking it a few times it works like a charm. Overall, great value for the money, you won't be disappointed.

Fit my 2004 g35 perfectly. The colour appears to be a little off and the vent surrounding should be black. But once installed it looks great and gets the job done.

Fits perfect In my g35 only issue is I have the navigation system but I just sanded down the control corners and drilled a hole in the top to make it fix and it’s perfect! Gets stuck and won’t come up sometimes but that’s all good

Colour was a little different than my dash, but maybe that’s the car I was putting it in? I don’t know how they dye the plastics at the Nissan factory, but maybe one dash isn’t exactly the same as the next, especially when comparing cars from the beginning of a production run to the end.In any case, this kit worked as advertised. Fit was decent.

I wanted to install Kenwood 6.8" DIN in my 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe since the stock stereo kept turning off and on by itself. I bought the Metra 99-7604 Single/Double DIN Installation Kit for 2003-2004 Infiniti G35 on Amazon after visiting my local car audio shop and getting quoted $200+ for this. I was a little skeptical on how it would change the look of the dash but I am pretty satisfied with the appearance. The silver color is slightly different from the original but nothing major, at least for me. Buttons are some type of rubber, not plastic. Pretty satisfied with my purchase overall and would recommend.

Went to a mechanic where he explained to me I need a circuit box for the heater, a new radio, etc.... and it would run approx $1,300+.Instead I spent the approx $200 for this kit, another $600ish in stereo, accessories and installation and have my radio and climate control panel back and saved $500!Bought the silver which very closely matches the silver trim in my G35. Buttons for the climate control aren't like the factory but after having for a month I don't remember what the old factory looked like anyway. I went with a doubleDIN radio that looks fantastic in the car.Unless you're a electronic wizz I would suggest finding a reputable place and pay for the install. It's very involved, at least if you buy a more sophisticated radio. Also be prepared to spend a little extra dough if you still want your steering wheel controls to work, etc. But in the end, you have a better stereo than you started and for less than what the dealer/mechanic wants to charge for fixing/replacing the same flawed console design.

The metra kit along with the purchase of the harness and antenna adapter and an after market radio(non factory radio) i.e. pioneer, kenwood, sony etc. fixed the problem i have had in my 2003 g35 sedan for months. The problem; cd error, unable to control A/C or radio only able to be controled through steering wheel control. well after 3 months of conrtoling it through the steering wheel and luckily having my AC stuck on 75 degrees( perfect temp) it finally stop working. after months of research on the internet replacing the stereo with the kit seemed to be the only solution. after infinity failed to recognize the countless probless for many 03 g35 drivers including myself. they just blew me off. but yeah i got my stereo back and a/c for about 650 dollars inculding instalation from best buy. i bought the pioneer 3100 dvd for $300 from amazon as well. simply because you can customize the led light from the radio to match the interior of my G. but you can put any radio in it to bring down the price about 200 but yeah i liked the double din look and same led colors. other than that i would have have put a 150 dollar radio just to fix the problem. but the product itself OK qaulity at best. the buttons are pretty gay but nothing beats having control over your car again
