Our kitten loves all toys and is active during the day while we are away working. We fill it up in the morning or sometimes at night and she will take it apart eating the food and treats as she gets bored. I have used these types of puzzle toys for my dog as well but he takes about five seconds to find all the treats and be done with it.

I have two cats, one took to the flowers quickly and one took to the bee quickly. I like this because it has three items for them to work on and each cat is figuring it out.I recommend using very fragrant treats at first so they are more inclined to work for it before switching to more plain treats.

My pup loves this and I love that you can change where the “honey combs” are placed on the puzzle. I like that option to change things up as many other puzzles only allow you to fit the pieces into the predetermined spots. This is so easy to clean, which makes my life easier while I am dog sitting!

I don't know about this thing. We have had a (highly energetic) rescue pup, for about 2 months now. So, I have been exploring new ways to get her energy out and learned mental situation can be tiring (in a good way!) for pups. But, this toy doesn't really do it for her. I ordered the Level 3 puzzle, which has 2 main features. The 1st are the plastic caps. You can plug food in the cavities, and then cover with a cap, which will cover 2 cavities. The 2nd feature is the plastic daisies. Similarly, you can plug food into a cavity near the daisy, then rotate the daisy to cover it. It is pretty quick & easy for her to figure how each feature works. From there, she is simply flipping off the cap, and rotating the daisies to see if there is anything below them. I guess as a slow feeder (which we don't need), this could be a good toy. But for a mental puzzle, it isn't that great for our pup and it seems very low on her list of toys she prefers. So, the toy itself is decent size & quality and probably great as a slow feeder if you need one!

This was fun for my dog to figure out. The flowers are pretty easy/similar to other puzzles, but the hive was a little trickier for him. Took him a while to figure out how to get his food out, but he was very into it! Larger puzzle than we have had before. Seems well made, and it’s cute!

My dog has his “inner wolf” come out at mealtime and sometimes eats so fast, it comes back up (I guess he gets choked?). With this, it really shows his eating down to a manageable level and he really engages with the various methods to find the food. The bee bubble thingy is always the mast thing. It’s so cute to watch him push it with his nose and wait to see if a food nugget falls out. If it doesn’t, he gives it another nudge and looks again. It’s like a doggy slot machine!Would definitely recommend this to slow fast eaters, or just to add some mental stimulation to treat times!

Got the multi pack. It came with 4 boards and accessories. You can customize and increase difficulty to your heart's desire.

Our dog Patty would down her food in seconds. For the first time, this item helped her eat it more slowly. I want to try the other versions that add a puzzle for her.
