The design of this adapter uses a threaded rod to lock two ball joints into place, which is a terrible design choice. The product is convenient for adapting to a microphone pole but cannot support much weight. The adapter is a small enough size to be convenient for many setups and the product is built from reasonable quality materials. Overall I feel the ball joints limit the functionality of this product, but it is a reasonable price at $13.

This is a really great microphone mount for drums. The parts are mostly plastic, but are plenty sturdy for home studio use. Once screwed down I couldn't budge them. Especially useful for micing under a snare, or putting on a cymbal stand for mic a floor tom or hi hat. I'm going to pick up a couple more of these for my home studio.

Great clamp for tight spaces. Attaches firmly, adaptable to a variety of mic holders or even cellphone holders. I'm currently using it to hold a Korg nanoPAD 2. I love the double adjustability of the 2 ball-in-socket joints. Absolutely easy to find your desired position.

These are simple microphone clips that can attach to many different sized microphone stands or cymball stands, boom arms etc. the circumference of the clamping mechanism will fit different sizes, and they come with little rubber inserts, one is thicker than the other, so in case whatever it is you're mounting it to is on the smaller side, just insert the bigger rubber insert and you're good to go. You can angle this mount basically in any direction you'd like due to all the pivot points. It's made well, it stays put, it's priced right, highly recommended.

This was exactly that I was looking for, very very handy to have a clamp mount for my mic. Works great!

These clever folks took a 1/4" Camera Mounting clamp and put a microphone adapter on it, thus turning it into a Microphone clamp. That's pretty darned smart is you ask me!These make it easy to mount a microphone BELOW a snare drum. It WILL hold a mic on a hihat stand, but the mechanical sound of the hihat does get into the mic unless you use a pretty well isolated mic. There are literally dozens of ways to use these clamps around a drum kit, or on stage. It's well worth having a few in your stand case for those weird situations where a mic stand might not fit. Very very handy!

This is a pretty good and flexible clamp. It seems to work best in vertical applications in which theclamping base, or "crab claw" is attached to a vertical tube. Of course, with a higher friction surface on thetube, maybe a wrap of gaff tape, lightweight items may be held in a more horizontal plane. I'm assuming chrome plated, or smooth surfaced mounting points. Rough surfaces will work better at any angle. This clamp is just heavy enough for many mounting jobs and small enough for easy stowage and transport. The fit and finish are good and it's pretty well engineered.I like it!

This clamp mount is well built. It is sturdy and can attach to a round pipe or bar as well as other surfaces. The clamp itself appears to be made of some sort of high impact plastic that is surprisingly strong. The articulating arm holds position pretty well. The attachment point is a ¼" tripod type screw mount. It also comes with a "brass" microphone adapter. At the current price $12.99, it's a handy accessory at a reasonable price.
