Second time I've replaced batteries on B&D mower - this set fit perfectly, and was an easy install. you'll need to save the jumper cable between minus of first battery to plus of second battery, from prior set - and will need to separately source a couple of lengths of double-sided foam tape to stick the pair together, so they can't move inside the mower body. I like that there's a few extra amp-hours capacity from original, should allow the mower to run a bit longer on each charge.

Absolutely excellent customer service. My review has to do mostly with the Mighty Max Battery company. I bought 2 of these batteries for my B&D CMM1000 mower in June, 2021. The batteries performed perfectly that season. Almost 10 months later I broke out the mower and noticed that the power faded too quickly. After pulling the cover off the mower, I could see that both batteries were swollen. I called Customer Service to report the problem, since the batteries have a 1 year warranty. I fully expected a big 'run around' and figured I was probably stuck with buying new batteries. Was I surprised! The Customer Service Rep. I spoke with could not have been nicer. She asked me to simply photograph the batteries and send it to her via email. I did that, and received an apologetic email telling me that two brand new batteries were on the way. They were delivered a few days later. Good service and honesty are hard to find these days -- I will certainly be a return customer.

This battery replaces a supposedly identical Mighty Max battery that lasted less than two years. I hope this one lasts longer...time will tell. The installation left much to be desired. There are no instructions whatsoever, but fortunately I had done this before, so I managed to figure it out. Even though this battery appears to be identical to the one I was replacing, its physical size is apparently slightly larger, because the strap that holds it in place is too short. And, once installed, the mower's cowling wouldn't go all the way down because it hit the top of the battery. Maybe there's some installation trick to avoid these problems, but I couldn't figure it out. The battery works OK, and the mower runs OK, but it looks like a half-baked installation. So, either make the installation more intuitive or provide some instructions!

I used it twice, and thereafter the battery will not take a charge anymore. Will run for 1 minute and dead afterwards. Seller suggested to charge the battery for 24 hours to possibly resolve the problem, which I did. The result was the same... dead after 1 minute of use. Seller told me to get it tested first from a local AutoZone and to send the printed result to them before any action can be taken. In the meantime, my grass are very tall already before they will have the time to resolve the problem. Bad customer service, in my opinion. It's not worth it. Do yourself a favor, buy another brand.

The price was very reasonable. The batteries arrived promptly. The installation went well, despite not having the proper size wrench (improvisation!). With the new batteries, the mower worked the the best I can remember it ever working.

One of the nuts did not fit the screw provided, though I had enough spare hardware available to replace it without having to go to the store. Configuration differs from stock battery so installation was a little tricky, but doable if you're handy with tools and hardware. This battery has enough more capacity than the stock 17ah batteries that it makes a noticeable difference in mowing time before battery is run down. I strongly recommend you get a higher capacity battery like these if you frequently run out of power before finishing your yard with OEM batteries. Costs a bit more but worth it. Shipping was fast and free even though these are heavy. Been using several months with no issues.

This battery has been performing great. With my BD electric lawnmower I and now cut my 10K lawn in about 45 minutes with no loss of power with this new battery. I have bought several batteries for this 12 year old mower and this one seems to be performing best. The real test is next spring after it has set over the winter (I keep the charger plugged in over the winter). Highly recommend.UPDATE after one season a winter storage and another season. I have had this battery over the Minnesota winter and now through most of the next summer. It has performed flawlessly. It still holds its charge more than enough for me to complete the mowing of my lawn with no noticeable discharge/power. I double down on my recommendation...HIGHLY recommended.
