Bought this to support a shade umbrella. As a bonus, also works well for a yard volleyball net for the kids. Much easier than stakes/string.

I like the weight, portability and size of the stand. I don’t like the fact that where the legs are welded together is poorly done. The picture shows where the tac-welding is so little that it will easily come apart. I contacted the seller for a replacement and they were quick to send a replacement but the same issue exists. Seems to be a flaw manufacturing flaw. Purchased on sale, undecided on what to do next.

Talk about being portable! This stand is also lightweight, but very strong.Pop up tents can be more expensive than buying really large unbrellas and you can throw away once the sun has destroyed them. This stand makes it easy.

I have a beach umbrella but there's no soil around my personal outdoor area so I began looking for an umbrella stand. I was however never going to pay the prices I had found others for. This looked basic, easy to use and price was decent. So happy I bought it! Now I'll have some shade this summer 🙂

I make staffs (as shown). Mainly sorority and fraternity. I use this stand to hold the staffs after the staff is carried onto the stage.... as a display, but also, so it doesn't have to be held and/or lean up against a wall. I also use it for storage so that the staff does not get damaged. I love that it folds up and is not very heavy.

Love that it is foldable for easy storage. Very easy to unfold. Love that it fits different sized umbrella poles/rods. It has holes in the base if you need to secure it on a windy day, it stands well on own when there is no wind. However does not seem to be rust free ( so I gave a 4), so would be best to keep dry (mine was left out in rain and now seeing signs of rust). Overall satisfied with purchase.

I bought this for shade from my patio umbrella where I like to bc sit - which changes during the day. My umbrella pole is 1.25” and with the enclosed adapter it fits the 1.5” opening perfectly - nice touch to have the adapter. The stand is easy to move around the patio as the sun does - so it’s doing what I bought it for! It stands on its own but I’m sure it would blow over in a strong wind - but if used in a yard or on sand there are holes in the feet to put stakes. It would be easy to fold the legs up and the umbrella down for storage. Great product for the price!!

I needed a base to hold a Kidkraft umbrella for the little chaise lounge chair. The chair has brackets on the back but I needed them separate for a performance and struggled to find a base that would fit the small child-sized pole. This was PERFECT!!! It’s small and portable. This is for a stage prop so I don’t need it to be heavy, it needs to travel well, and be placed on stage quickly. Other bases were just too big. This was exactly what I needed!! I purchased two others that just did not offer the same easy storage and portability like this one. 10/10. I believe the hole can be opened for a larger umbrella pole, but I didn’t try since I actually need it small.

I'm sure this is a good base. But the one I was shipped was bent at the base plate. I bent the base back into place and it seems fine. I was just surprised, box wasn't damaged. Just someone thought it was okay to ship a base where the bottom base plate was damaged. I will update with a picture of it tomorrow. Also if you have a beach umbrella, you have to take off the "corkscrew" tip. Will not fit. You can use the upper portion of the umbrella, but not the bottom half. Someone had gone to the trouble of taking off the "corkscrew" tip..how he was able to use it, not sure, I know the bottom half would not have worked even if I did take off the tip.

I purchased this in the hopes that I could convert my Tommy Bahama beach umbrella with a corkscrew bottom. It worked like a charm. A few simple steps. 1) drill out the rivets that attach the corkscrew to the lower half of the umbrella pole. 2) pull out the plastic corkscrew. If you properly drilled out the rivets the corkscrew will be undamaged. 3) slide the pole into the stand and tighten the knob attached to the stand. this will leave a scratch mark on the pole 4) drill another hole in the umbrella pole so that you can secure the pole to the stand/base. This took 5 minutes. Now I have an umbrella for the pool deck at my kids' games and a beach umbrella. FYI You'll need a couple of nuts and bolts to secure the corkscrew back on to the pole for beach use.As for the stand itself...It's not of the greatest quality but it looks sturdy enough to do its job and last a while. The feet lock into place when you open and collapse it. I'll update my review if it turns out to be a piece of junk.
