I’ve never used fiberglass so I’m not familiar with what to look for to say if it works or not…sorry! ^~^””I got this to supplement with sand that I use to make resin jars. Also too make the surface of resin textured and to form resin clumps that I can shape before/after curing. Super micro particles so definitely wear a mask! Came in a filled about 5x5in resealable bag

Good god, how have I not picked this stuff up earlier? I've seen several videos of Youtubers mixing this stuff into epoxy to produce a thicker product, all the way up to a peanut-butter-like paste that will hold its shape and not drip, but I never thought to look for some and try it out myself. You'd be surprised at how many uses you can find for thick epoxy. It's basically the entire selling point of that 2-part putty stuff that you knead together until it's a uniform color.Functionally, I noticed almost no difference to the bond strength or open time of the epoxy. It's super easy to use (add a little at a time and mix thoroughly until you get the viscosity you desire), then apply and proceed as you normally would. They do sell pre-thickened epoxy and I can see how that might be convenient if you're using it all the time, but this allows you to mix to your desired consistency and use your existing epoxy rather than buying it separately in tubes.Considering how much you're getting here, it's a pretty good value and I can't really think of anything I don't like about the product other than the fact that it's fiberglass and you'll want to wear the appropriate PPE to protect your eyes, lungs, and skin from irritation. Other than that, though, great stuff. Very happy with it.
