I don't leave many reviews, but if you're a "reel" fisherman and you troll multiple lines, this is the set up for you. Outstanding quality. Fully welded joints, bonded rubber guards on the rod tube ends to protect your rods, high quality hardware and simple to assemble. You can pull 3 planer boards with no problem with this high-quality tree. I have two of them, one on each side of the boat and love them. If you pay for quality, you get quality. Great product.

I dislike the base plate does not fit into the rail system (to wide). No description was given on Amazon site. Base plate appears to be designed to attach to the top gunnel. Likes- fit and finish was great. Although the teeth on the rod holder itself was fairly small-short teeth. Time will tell how long the teeth will last. You get what you pay for.

I ordered 2 rod trees and one was missing a locking piece making rod holder unusable. Its pretty obvious what is missing

I dont know what more a person could ask for? These are extremely sturdy and if you mount them correctly they are no going anywhere. I screwed up assembling the tubes but that's becasue I completely ignored the instructions.
