Highly accurate to measure pH in wine. Milwaukee makes a very good product.

I recieved this probe and after opening the box, the container that kept the probe wet was crusty. After removing the container I discovered it was bone dry.I then immediately tried to calibrate it and the brobe is stuck at maximum voltage. The probe doesn't even calibrate....

The probe that came with my unit lasted about 6 months and then I had to replace it. The new one lasted for 4 or 5 uses. I use it once a week, so you do the math.

Fits and functions perfectly like the original electrode.

One of my workers left the cap off the sensor, so it was great that we found a replacement. This one came with a sensor cap with a compression fitting. That is much better than the loose one it originally came with.

After four years I got an error code “ec” during calibration, which I only had to do once before.Since I was calibrating due to weird readings I figured the error ment the probe had finally died, four years is not bad at all for a ph probe. It arrived in two days and I connected it, went into cal mode and the hour glass went away! And without errors it completed calibration. Well built and the cap fits tight.

Unlike the container that came with my meter when I purchased it in October 2014, the storage solution container that comes with this replacement be probe does not seal. This allows the storage solution to evaporate and the probe to dry out, which can damage the probe. After 2 weeks in storage, I found the container and probe bone dry, unlike the original container that would keep the probe safely hydrated for months. Sure enough, the probe is not holding calibration now.

This battery is supposed to have a 5-7 year lifetime in standby mode. Immediately after I hooked it up, the Basement Watchdog would not stop beeping, forcing me to connect the water level sensor wire to one of the battery posts to make it stop beeping. I should have checked the voltage of the battery right then and there, because the battery was defective on day one. Now, less than a year later, the watchdog is beeping incessantly again. I checked the voltage across the battery terminals, and found it to be on 4.88 volts, meaning 4 of the 6 cells in the battery are damaged and no longer working. Of course, i can't return the battery or get a refund anymore. So, now I have to spend another >$100 to replace it. DO NOT BUY YOUR BATTERIES OVER THE INTERNET!
