I used this with a Canon SL2 (200D) camera and iPhone 13 pro. With the camera powered on and the photos app running on the phone, a device menu popped up above the Albums section of the main page listing the camera. Selecting it opened the image view showing all of the photos from the camera. It includes a section at the top of the already imported images with the rest grouped by date taken.This is a simple way to get photos off the camera to the phone for immediate use. For dates with a large number of photos, it shows picture placeholders for a while before finally loading the actual images. This slows the process a bit, and I don't know if this an issue with the camera speed, the phone or photos app, or maybe the cable's capability.If I was batch importing a lot of files, I would likely stick with transferring directly from the card using a mobile card reader with my phone. But, this is great as a backup connection or for transferring a handful of images.

This is a great cable for my older digital camera. It's easy to transfer photos. Mine works great. I'd definitely recommend!

I got this USB-mini to lightning cord to connect my old Olympus Stylus digital camera to my iPhone 12 mini and it works perfectly. Very pleased with the cord. The cord is a high quality braided cord and the two devices were communicating with each other instantly.
