this lil shakin machine be throwin a party at 3000RPM, perfect for mixin up them nail polishes and paint bottles like a tiny tornado in a box. the touch function makes it dummy-proof to operate, though sometimes it be a bit too sensitive and start dancin when you just lookin at it funny. them hundred bonus mixing balls be a real nice touch, makin sure everything gets blended up proper-like without no clumps or separation drama.

This will only hold items the size of a test tube. It will not shake nail polish or small bottles of craft paint. It is well made, easy to set, and shakes like crazy. However it was not at all what I needed.

I have MS and POTS and kind of poor grip dexterity, and really wanted a shaker for my monument paints. They're small bottles (at least most of them), and so far this really has been just the thing for me. Painting for me is kind of a zen activity so I'm not really ever in a rush and I think maybe I use the paints frequently enough that they just need a bit of mixing, to present I haven't had any issues with this and it gets my paints mixed in a reasonable amount of time. It's kind of fun to hold them to the top and just let it go.Size is such that it fits easily on my desk next to my other tools. Construction quality feels solid overall. It makes a sound but it really isn't too noisy, I would suspect it's average for such devices but I haven't another to compare it to. Appreciate the inclusion of the mixing balls, hoping they hold up over time. Packaging and included instructions were kind of average, appropriate but nothing special.Looking at other reviews I do wonder about QC maybe being an issue, or maybe I'm just lucky. Either way for me it's been working well, no complaints.

I'm disabled and need help shaking up my hobby paint when painting tabletop miniatures. Got this, and it works, but not great. Gets the job done, but takes a while. Still, keeps me from hurting, so it's good enough for my purposes. Just wish it was quicker.

This worked very well for what I wanted it for. I'm using it for mixing suspended stains and other materials that are in syringes, and shaking them by hand tends to not distribute the materials properly.It's basically just a small vibrating cup that turns on when you push a bottle/testtube/syringe down into it. The base has suction cup feet to help keep it steady. It does what it advertises, and does it well.

I purchased this to mix up my paint for my airbrush, and so far, it’s working awesome. It totally beats mixing them by hand. Sometimes I thought my arm was going to fall off. I like that there’s no on and off switch. Just press down on the thing, it starts shaking the bottle, and it shakes them pretty good. Totally takes the work out of mixing up my paint. In my opinion, the price wasn’t bad, and I’m happy with the product. I would recommend it. I will say that the bottle doesn’t fit perfectly into the hole, so I just turn it upside down and stick the cap in, then flip it over and shake the bottom corner.

The nestlab Mini Vortex Mixer is perfect for mixing up my paints for my models.I like to build models, it's relaxing for me, and of course that involves painting them as well. Most of the bottles of paint a quite small, as I'm sure you've seen them, they're like .5 ounce or something crazy like that. But, that is what it is. Most times, especially on a new bottle, shaking the bottle by hand is sufficient. But, if it's been opened, or if it's sat awhile unopened, it can be difficult to get the paint mixed properly no matter how hard you shake or try to mix it. This is where this product shines. I specifically kept 3 paint bottles back that I've been having issues with so I could put this to the test. Made sure they're sealed well, and on the mixer they went. And......worked better than I'd hoped for actually. Even the one that was a little old and a bit thick. Normally I would've thrown it out when the paint reaches this stage as it usually doesn't mix well, even if it does kind of mix, it usually doesn't coat well either because of the insufficient mixing. Well, that issue is now defunct. LOL.So, this mixer has actually exceeded my expectations. I thought it'd work decently, but it even mixed the one paint that was like glue and had clearly separated. I liked the fact that they included the "mixing balls", but I don't think they'd work to well with mixing paint. Too much clean-up in my opinion. I didn't try, but I didn't try because of the expected clean-up.I do have a few bigger bottles of paint that I bought to hopefully reduce all the tiny bottles, they're a whole 2 ounces instead of just .5 ounces or whatever. LOL. However, this handy dandy mixing machine mixed even the bigger bottles with ease.The instructions, what little were needed, were clear and concise. Basically apply power, put your object gently into the center divot and press down until unit activates. When you're done, lift your object and the unit automatically shuts off. Viola', you're mixed! LOL. One thing of note, it has suction cup for feet, which really helps it stay put while it's doing it's thing. I couldn't imagine this without those feet, it'd probably be walking all over the place, even potentially off the table. LOLI know I said it before, but I'll say it again because it's worth repeating. I'm very impressed and this mixer has exceeded my expectations. As such, if the need arose, I would order this again in a heartbeat. Likewise with recommending this to my fellow hobbyist's, and anyone else who might benefit from such a handy little machine.A definite 5 star product without a doubt.A+++++

Reviewing nestlab Mini Vortex Mixer, 3000RPM Vortex Mixer with Touch Function, This is a great mixer for my nail polish. It only takes a few minutes and once I lift the polish out, it automatically stops shaking. My only complaint is that I can’t set the polish on it and walk off. It needs to be held in place.
